Hi, everyone. I have question about SOASE, why the dev let ships and buildings not fully animated?Can ships and building get fully animated (by a mod or a patch)? And does Iron engine is licensed? How much it's cost? Will Iron engine released as open source or free like what ID software did for their engine? Hope there is a answer from the dev too. To make Macross or Gundam mod in Sins, we need code that can make Massive Complex Animation System realized. That make AI and animation blend and make little calculation of physic on PC
I want to see features like can give a quest from player to player or from player to AI, can sell our resource to another player or too another AI, a fourth race, something like Sentinel from The Matrix or Vajra from Macross Frontier. For the engine, full support for OpenGL 3 and brand new AI and animation system so every turret can target or move individually
I just want to see a brand new animation technology that allowing every turret move individually.
i think the wise way is waiting until ironlad fix this problem. alloy is a new technology, it's refine how we play multiplayer (can't find better words), we just have to wait and see. Hope the next expansion will bring major fix.

This is for people that want to post their idea for next sins patch. Start from me, i want a brand new animation system for Sins. Like every ship has animations, like refinery ship of Vasari that looks like a snake, it should move like a snake but vertical. Gun at capital ship that didn't move now move and target ship not just moving sprite. One maonth or two weeks after impulse release patch, the patch will be released in the internet freely through another website for people who have problem w
I have ideas for new patch. A brand new animation system, like we know Sins ship is lack of animation. Like capital ship cannon, their gun is not move just the sprite that move. Sometimes it break the feel of massive warfare, because all unit didn't have more animation. Can Ironclad add new animation system in next patch after balancing and working alloy engine.
This is just a suggestion. Maybe you can add more animation for ship and higher texture to whole game. Sometimes the sprite is not sync with the gun. The gun is still at it's position while the muzzle flash is going to somewhere.
