Heres a few hints: 1)Insane cable based internet connection speeds(more then most of the country) 2)So darn cold some engines wont start or you can pull off a burnout if you gun it while MOVING. 3) Most of the population speaks a different language then the rest of the country 4) Some idiots here invented racism towards a language(im not kidding) The answer is.... The province of Quebec in Canada!

I agree its a bit difficult. But i haven't lost hope and been doing some research for new strategies. And, by taking note of MANY suggestions, i have set up my own strategy, not the best one but it works well for me. And, being a LONG time RTS player(I know its an RT4X, but ill still call it an RTS out of habit), its the most well balanced RTS right out of the box i've ever played. The "venerable"(Hate me, i hate starcraft) took 10 million patches to get to where it is now. And i have y

Another thing to help. Tryp updating your drivers everyone or try this:(yeah i know im preaching it but it worked for me and a buddy) boost your page file size to 4 gb(max ammount in windows XP) Me and a friend running COMPLETELY different hardware were doing comp stomps against a full game of hards and mediums. Midgame we would crash. Me, being the curious cat and the hands on type of guy. i HAD to look for a solution so i woke up sunday morning, did some research and testing

Dude most people who crashed(including me) had a perfectly fine framerate up untill it crashed.. me it was midgame all seemed fine and bam, it crashed. I tweaked my page file and voila it worked BTW mine i increased it from 2 gb to 4 gb, yeah it was stock at 2 gb on my system. heres my system p4 3ghz HT 1 gb ddr ram ATI RADEON x800xl ALL-IN-WONDER Soundblaster X-FI XTREME GAMER 250 gb hd + 2x 80gb secondairy drives i still had the

For comparison i have a 4(or 5 year old PC, i forget) with: P4 3.0 ghz HT processor 1gb of DDR ram(up till 2 years ago i had 1.5 but two of my 4 ram slots fried because of a power surge) ATI radeon x800xl ALL-IN-WONDER videocard and, my luxury piece, Creative Soundblaster X-FI Xtreme Gamer and because i was running into the MINIDUMP error issue like a few others, i changed my page file(AKA virtual memory) to 4gigs, up from 2(my pain hard drive is 2

go for ram and if you have a fairly large HD with plenty of free space, try increasing the page file size. It will help compensate a bit for your ram and avoid a certain, issue at the same time.

I found a fix that works on XP and probably works on vista too. I detailed the fix and the reasons why i came up with it in my two posts on the following forum thread. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/?aid=301153&p=1#1620320 it worked for me AND my friend who are running completely different computers. So, im pretty confident that this will solve the problem for anyone. It's a bit hands on on the windows configuration department but its 120% safe(yes 120%). For th

Of course, when you lock up or get a minidump error, the game stops operating and thus sending data into the pagefile. like you said too, your crashes arrive when things get big, which is exactly what happened to me. i thought of this idea when i saw someones fix for vista crashes, it was a download, a hotfix issued by vista to HELP(not solve) the problem that some games have when they run out of memory. So it would seem that Sins is one of those(not saying the game was badly p

i found a fix its because the games programming doesnt cope well when it runs out of memory, be it either ram or page file memory, so when it runs out it crashes. So if you increase the page file to MORE then the game will ever be using, you should be fine. Note it is better to do it with large hard drives as its preferable to reserve the right ammount of HD space for your page file. i dont know the exact trace for vista but heres how you do it with XP: start

yeah me and my friend got that a lot too! we were playing lan yesterday and we could NEVER finish a round because of that problem. Either one of us would get that error in the middle of the game and if we tried to load, well it wouldn't work.. It's kind of frustrating that out of maybe 7 games, we haven't been able to finish a single one, which sucks because we really enjoy the game.

Heres what id enjoy. a fix for a rather annoying bug, a friend of mine and I have played a few games on lan and have never been able to finish because either one of our games would crash after recieving, midgame, an error message about some file being dumped into a minidump. Once that happens the game crashes and well, even if we load to a point just before, the problem occurs still. It's been rather annoying.
