I and the rest of the battlefleet gothic mod team thank you for... letting me go back to work .
............... XD Nice mod set! And I DO thank you.

Woohoo
0083 had enough ship types and mobile suits and different gundam models to work. Of the three Gundam units 01/02/03 each race can get one as their super. Or you could use the Big Zam: Unit 03 with Dendrobium Orchis: And the Neue Ziel: [img]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/8/8d/AMA-X2_Neue_Ziel_(Gundam_008
Planet Unicorn, Heyyyyyy
I'm an expert when it comes to Warhammer fluff. I also play Battlefleet Gothic on Tabletop. I have no mod skills, but I am pretty damn handy with photoshop. I'm willing to help with this, because I would really love to see a BFG mod for this game (the main reason I'm playing it in the first place is because it reminds me of BFG). But like I said, I don't really have mod skills. I am a fast learner...I'm just at work almost 10 hours a day...so free time is low. If you need a
I have the XFX Extreme Alpha Dog edition 8800GT card...It's badass. It clocks faster than a whole bunch of "better" cards. Plus it's PCIe 2.0 That's massive bandwidth. Keep 4 gigs of RAM though. If you have to drop your card level to keep the RAM, do so. 'Course...You could go with an 8 gig RAM / Dual SLI xfx8800GT extreme rig. I know for a fact that that's a killer setup.
Interdictors lose motivation when they deploy a gravity well? I don't remember the Ultimate Guide to Vehicles and Vessels mentioning that. Are you sure? Or is that just how it worked in one or two books?
Very nice. For some reason I had imagined them being White and Gold with the blue stripes. The battleship looks sweet.
You're telling me in the future human have started mounting barrels that would, in the case of ballistic weapons, load ammo a couple hundred feet in diameter?
Yes. On ships that ply the stars, ships THAT size, with armor THAT thick, you need massive goddamn shells to do anything. I'm sure whole TEAMS of sweating work crews man each gun to load a shell after each shot. though maybe they use autoloaders...::shrug:: Sorry to beat a dead horse here.
For the record, I am running an Intel Core 2 Duo and like I said above, both cores are very busy during my entire play session. There is a Gadget for the Vista side bar called the Multi-meter and it keeps a graphical representation of CPU core usage and RAM usage and I simply drag that over to my other monitor to see what a game is using. I think its one of the most usefull Vistsa gadgets out there.
It SHOWS you that it's using both...but it's very possible that one core
korean is actually one of the easier languages to identify.
The little circles give it away.
Is there any way to just re-skin the vessels? Like grab the Star Destroyer models from a mod and use them to replace the graphic of whatever ship you don't like? Or is there coding involved?
I have to say, the Imperial craft in Battlefleet Gothic (the Warhammer 40K space battle system) have my favorite look when it comes to gritty warmaking hellraisers. Not sure what that has to do with anything as I'm sure TEC won't get a re-design to look similar... But if they ARE civi craft...why so ugly? Why are civies jetting around on crapcraft? Shouldn't they be the ones with pretty ships? Okay, so make the ship look like a pretty thing with armor and weapons implanted
I will download this as soon as it is available. You do the game and it's players a great service.
UPDATE:So far, so good. 2 capitals now done, with new stats and textures to make them different from the other Vasari looking ships in the galaxy. I am trying to figure out how to modify the original MESH files in order to actually change the ships appearance without creating a whole new ship.As far as the first free CAP ship getting eliminated, I am at a dead end. I cannot figure out how to turn that off. To get around this, I will make the CAP ship factory cost triple, including met
Paging files should be about 1.5 times the size of your ram
And if I have 8 gigs of RAM? Should I have a 12gb PF? Heh, only being semi-serious. As for the OP, many people have been reporting crashes and lockups like you are describing since the update. Run a search and you should find some other threads about this that may help.
but some of the "uninspired" TEC designs are really SUPPOSED to be ugly IMHO. Their ships are industrial makeovers! The only "pretty" TEC ship is the KOL, which was the only ship built from the bottom up to be a ship of war.
Quoted for truth.
You're INSANE. People leaving when the game is basically a fait accompli isn't related to people only wanting to win: it's often because the game will STILL take ages to play out, and there's no percieved way to turn it around. Some people just want a casual game, and they have no interest in spending 4 hours getting ruled. If you're a new player and you start losing, they aren't 'having fun playing the game' for however long it takes them to get defeated (in some cases this could be
? Marquis Du Saude?
Once hitting a ship from the sides and rear do more damage carriers will be more powerful. Jump in system, drop bombers/fighters while they are fighting the rest of your fleet, watch their ships engines go nuclear. ::shrug:: But I guess until then you'll just have to abuse them as they are! Haha
Sorceresss: It's Masochist, not Mazokiss. ;)
People who leave when they start to lose shouldn't bother you. They obviously don't care about having fun playing they game, they just want to win. And in leaving early they are ensuring they will lose and eventually will stop playing the game. Hell, this happens all the time in Starcraft too, any time something starts to go bad for them they just quit like wussies. Silly because good planning and quick thinking can turn a possible loss into a win more often than they may think.
