If anyone needs a base voice for vasari...i might be able to help, but it might be hard for me to get it up. If anyone gave me an example of how they think it should sound (vasari have a distinct way of saying things is an example)then i might be able to get something done. note its not very likely ill get around to it, but i might ;p

I had wondered when someone would actually suggest doing their own voice acting... sounds interesting and seems kinda like Uzi's mod, as in something that you might use as a secondary part of a mod or just as a side thing.

Wewt a suggestion for something from starcraft. I like the gameplay of the zerg too, but one of the things that would really make a zerg-mechanic race worth it would more unit types. Swarms aren't swarms if they are only 2 different units. Also, when you compile this, will it be that you can chose between gameplay mechanic sets? Yes, the game does seem to change the planet placement on the z axis somewhat, i first noticed this playing the normal set levels that came with the game, and having some of the planets close, so the phase lane was like going down a slide which looked odd. I just think it randomizes this a little to make it not as 2d and more of a 3d thing although really it should be less flat as it is. I don't really know a workaround but i'm sure someone will think of one eventually.
Yeh, i think white and gold would be a good theme for the ships, but not quite the alien sleekness of the Advent. A simple, yet smooth look is kinda what i had in mind. (why? I don't really know, except for the fact that i would classify them as a noble or wise race. Again why?)
yes, I think this is a good idea, but i have no idea if it is feasable or not. Being as that I don't know much, I wouldn't be able to judge it in any way but the fact that it has a high possibility of being a good game. (i have played WC3 and other versions of this type of game, and i liked them a lot)You might also want to incorporate a grid system of waypoints for ships to go through to get to a capital ship area, and describe more of the details of the system in the game.
