@ poster #1 Typically, I wouldn't get offended by most jokes against mexicans, immigration, etc. But you managed to offend me slightly; I thought it was damn near impossible, but you did it. Good job! It was funny, but it was so wrong... Rofl. Just hope that the wrong person doesnt read your post lol. I watched the video BTW.

Too few people have honorable qualities now days. Although on my end I vary a little different in that area but the objective is the simmilar. All I have to say on my behalf is

You have to moev your map file into your: Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxy folder, not the docs & settings w/e spot or they wont work right.... I believe maps that are randomly generated only work properly under this directory using the ingame map generator. :)
His fleet can run, his planets not so much.
Yes they can, and they do all the time. Which is why I made this post as a way to draw them out of hiding.

If you are like me, you would rather play against AI or play PvAI matches rather than against other players (although in my case this mostly applies for RTS games) Anyways, I have found that the hit and run tactics of the AI are rather annoying and tiresome. To remedy this I found a little tactic which I like to call "stepping on their toes" For booming players such as myself (and turtlers) I find this a complete bane. We all know 99% of the time if you outmatch an AI's fleet

How did you miss it? Oh well, the CD key is right above where the CD was located inside your sins box. Might want to note that when you are inputting the cd key there are no O's in the cd keys, only 0's (zeroes)

You know, Uranium - 235 you are right about alot of things in your posts but you are wrong about stereotyping your views on clans & competitive gamers in general. You said that you never have been in a clan; obviously I can see how that reflects your opinion. :P Although I can accurately recall my opinions on clans was nothing but a pool of drama, but one day I said "screw it" and signed up for the first appealing clan. Not every clan is about using every exploit and every glit

It is not illegal to look at someone elses work and make your own based off of it. Take music for instance. Many musicians now days take a beat they like or know from somewhere and mix it up. If every musician got pegged down for 'stealing' beats it would be a legal nightmare. As long as you do not directly rip or take any resources that went into building the copyrighted material, your work is yours no matter how simmilar it may look.

Ohhh. this is probably too late but i can still hope cant i? The advents culture cannon is too weak. TEC can blast a completley upgraded planet away with 2 shots from their super cannon. While trying to destroy a planet using the culture cannon takes nearly 20 shots to keep up the pressure. You have to keep on additional pressure to prevent colonising or their broadcast centers will quickly undo your work. Also, you may have to aim at nearby planets because you cannot aim the cannon at

I hope you realise that how many capital ships you decide to use and how you mix and mach them in your fleet will determine if you win or loose against unfavorable odds. Just today I raided a pirate base after 11hrs of gametime. It was loaded with 400+ pirates. I only having ~250 ships with 5 carefully selected capital ships, cruisers, and support ships was able to clean the entire pirate base with no casulties at all. I bet trying to do that with one capital ship would have be

Does this game come with some kind of campaign mode to explain the story or lore? Is there plans for adding a campaign in a furture patch? I would love to see a campaign for the 3 races, unless I completley overlooked it. I realise there is some stuff in the manual so don't be a smartass. :P Is it possible to create maps with scripted events with the editor in the downloads section? I have not downloaded it yet but I would like to know before hand.

I know, I apologise for the angry post. Mabye someone can give advice on how to deal with this problem. Mabye I can upload my current savegame and someone can look at it and see what they can do to help if possible. Last game lasted 8 hours on a huge map of 102 planets, medium enemies, all random no team lock. Played as advent. It turned out to be one big slow loss. I eventually surrendered because I could not watch my empire slowly be poked to death. During the beta I played alot of TE

Ugh, this is the second time I have tried playing a huge random map. It feels like all the AI works against me, they use cowardly tactics and wait till I move my fleet, like they can see what I am doing, then they move in bombarding ships. I go back to defend because 15 turrets and 3 hangar bays isn't enough. Anyways, the planet gets destroyed and then the damn ships take off before I can take shots on them. Sometimes when I finally find one of their big fleets with my bigger fleet and attemp
