CUT CUT CUT
Ok but that does not change what many people are saying ... . the innovations brought by Rebellion are not that much. period.
I did not want to compare the games, i merely reacted to Jartigerx´s post. It was waste of money for me, cause i barely played it, cause i did not like it very much. And its not like i dont like classic RTS games, but IMHO even 7 years old CnC Generals shits all over SC2. I had more fun with RA3 as well. And Rebellion is for me far superior. Anyway, I did not mean to imply its waste of money for everyone.
I can't agree with that..... Do you really want to compare SC franchise to SOASE franchise??? Starcraft 2 was a decent successor to the regretful masterpiece that sc1+Bw was. The style , the gameplay/mechanics were specifically kept similar to SC1 even if it turned out to be enough noob-friendly , nevertheless it's still "easy to learn difficult to master" Starcraft 2 has an active (almost endless) multiplayer community , it
thank you for your explanation. The game is intriguing me , I'm sure I'll take it in the next weeks. Really curious to see the final product tough. Seeing the passion and the capabilities of the developers It will easily be a good title.
how do the spaceships customization work? how many classes ? can you build your own style ? Isn't the combat style annoying ? I don't get how it works... it's like you choose some cards which represent the type of attack you are going to apply ?
I would like to have your first impressions here about the two factions. -Which one are you loving more? -Things you have done/noticed -Titans -Any new exciting thing you noticed Discuss !
game is on gold state.... what do you Soase fans think ? Will it be a decent competitor ???
They're here? You know, I don't usually play Vasari, because of... well... galactic slavers and all, not really my thing. Plus their voices annoy me. A lot. But tonight, I will play both Loyalist and Rebel Vasari.
Lol I've always hated their voice for some reason too ... but they rock
VASARI have left the phaaaaaase spaaaaaace tonight everyone will play vAsari and please ignore diablo III it's so bad !!!
evvai !!!! thanks question: will steam just download some MB's or do we have to download the whole beta client again ??? first time updating beta :D cheers
This is about what we are already discussing in my previous thread.... don't know if another identical thread was needed. [e digicons]:|[/e] Btw I'm with you , love SOASE and Ironclad but feel just disappointed... i bet many of us have thought : well... it's not that much for an expansion !!! Maybe our expectations were too high
I really agree with flannicus90 , that is my exact point of veiw. I'm a bit worried about VG reviewing sites and the rates they'll stick at Rebellion. Since the game has never had a big multplayer community I fear that an average rate will prevent some hesitant people to stump up $40 and so we'll have a dead game at the release ??? Hope I'm wrong. Let's hope in the modding community too at this point. sorry don't wa
So it seems I'm not the only one thinking that Rebellion is lacking new contents...frankly it is quite obvious. Many of the positive supporters say : it's an expansion , what did you want? Well, many expansions of other games brought much more than Rebellion will do. I think the new rebel/loyal thingy is a smart move by the devs, it splits the factions without apporting a lot of changes and with no big efforts. The graphic engine is still decent but not exciting, the gameplay
Good choice, you wont be disappointed. The game is more than sum of its parts, while there is not much of a new content, its really game-changing and makes the game feel fresh. Personally, i think i played Rebellion more over last 2 months than all the previous Sins titles over those what, four? years. Its that good.
Thank you. I really hope it will be THE ga
For the Advent and Vasari it looks a lot different.
where can I find pictures of the vasari GUI ?
ok...not big changes but I'm proud I can help software houses like Ironclad so .... shut up and take my money IRONCLAD !!!!!! :D Beta in download ;)
Thank you for your reply , i have some questions : well I didnt know about the new sounds and music... so i bet these things are not in the beta ??! cause i've heard the same sounds as always Nor the textures... I've read some people were sayin that textures for older ships are the same as before.. !?!? Did they really revamp all textures? what's new about the UI ? It seems the same to me ?! I noticed
Hello, first I wanna say i loved vanilla SOASE , i still remember I bought it on the very first day the game came out, proud of software houses like IRONCLAD bringing on the 4x genre which i personally adore. Now I'm thinking too much about buying Rebellion cause basing on the videos I could see on youtube, Rebellion seems THE SAME as the vanilla game i played . I'm a bit disappointed cause i was hoping for something more..... Ok we got Titans and Corvett
