I think 2 repairs just prolong the repair time of the bonus being applied, ie 40 pts/sec for Y seconds w/1 and 40 pts/sec for Y x 2 with 2 repairs... also if TEC use shield generators & phase slowing thingies - just my pref (again this is SP not MP)

lack of focus firing plus predictable reaction to losing a cap ship or 2 makes the AI a bit lame unless he's got you way way way outnumbered. 7 cap AI fleet + some Hvy Cruisers, etc vs my little 2 cap fleet w/some mixed ships - AI had me outgunned at least 3 to 1 - but all it took was focus firing on his caps one at a time and after 4 caps went down he turned tail and ran.. lost 1 other cap on the way out of the system... hope they fix that part of the AI in the patch

just a little FYI for all those who aren't quite as clueless as me... if you play the TEC, shoot the incredibly slow and rather expensive novalith cannon at a enemy colony but destroy the enemy colony and establish your own colony at that location before the novalith warhead hits, you will take the full damage of the warhead up to and including the destruction of your new colony... did I mention that the warhead travels rather slow? in the final stages of a huge map game vs AI - have more
