This happens to me, but at the lowest resolution (poor video card), and when pausing. It seems as if the empire tree doesn't refresh when paused, so if you scroll, no new ships appear, but you can bring the old view back on.

O.K., so I just got this game about a week ago, have been playing it, and now I'm getting around to patching it. However, the website, nor Stardock Central, will accept my serial code, which has been double checked multiple times. So now I can't patch. Any solutions?
By the "the box promised", I mean that on the cardboard jacket of the box, it said it came with a windows theme. It didn't say anything about Wal-Mart. But hey, its just a theme. No big whoop, just something slightly annoying.
Graaah! I got mine from Best Buy. So I can't get the theme. But the box promised. :(
I see. Thanks! Goes and downloads
Hi, I just got this game a couple of days ago, so far it looks pretty cool, a little confusing at first, but I'm getting the hang of it. Anyway, to the point, the box says something about a windows theme included. Where is this theme? It seems like a SoSE theme could be cool. I tried finding it, but I couldn't.
Thanks! I'll go buy now! P.S. for any Stardock who may read this, I really enjoy the level of support. A huge 1.02 patch so soon after release. Over at GPG, we have waited 4 months for a patch, and it still isn't out yet! :(
I was thinking about this game, and was thinking of getting it, but what settings could I confortable run this on? The video card is only slightly above minimun requirements. Would I have to stay on low, or could I bump it up to medium or high? It looks like there is a large differents from bit-tech screenshots. 1GB Ram GeForce 6600 256 MB Duel Core Intel Pentium 4 Processor, 3.20 Ghz EDIT: What sizes of maps could I be able to play, while I'm at it? Could I run mos
