Again, nobody? I thought that this was a decent idea. =P

Too late? =)
One, that would make like 80 hour games. And it is possible to sneak around. Just sub-light it. You don't NEED to jump, as far as I'm aware. I've accidently sent a fleet out like a minute out. They were like a third of the way there.
You should totally give me some supply tips. But, seriously, how are you doing with a fleet, and defenses, and research? It's a balancing act. I can do really well on the economic and research, and my fleet hurts as a result.
Left click on them. Then hit Y. It works for Capital ships too. I don't know if there is one, within reasonable limits. I certainly haven't hit it in my limited experience. It'd be a minimum of 100k would be my guess.
Bump. Nobody?
I looked at portforward.com, and all the others. I looked at The_Monks stuff too. I followed exactly what portfoward.com said, for the static IP, and the forward, but I still can't host. I don't know where to find the NAT thing, so I'm appealing here. How can I find a way to be hosting? =/ I'd REALLY appreciate some detail.
I understand that AI retreat if they're outnumbered or whatever, but it does kind of make it anticlimatic. There's nothing like two huge fleets clashing together over a chokepoint...Which seems to only happen in Multiplayer. AI just seems to retreat if they lose their capital ships, if they stay at all. Unless it's their last planet. And by then, you have such a huge advantage, it's not even funny. I propose an idea. Certain AI t
So that's how experience is dished out...
AI tends to run away if they have no more capital ships, unless they're at their last planet. Prices on the black market increase as you buy more, but will decrease if left alone for awhile. Pirate strength is based on the amount of bounty placed, but has a limit. Having a greater allegience on a planet causes greater resource/taxes output.
Play 1 or 2 games against AI, first with an AI on your team, and then a 1v1. Then go online, and hopefully get in a game where you can learn from other players.
Bump. Still not been able to figure this out.
I'm having problems creating a map that's small. It seems like the phase lanes are always ridiculously long. I mess around with the map size, the phase length adjusters, and the orbital radius, but I doesn't seem to change much. There are just some points where it's like a 5 minute journey, Green is what, smaller? Red is larger? Less orbital radius means a smaller overall system, right?
I just want to say, this topic is an excellent overall description of the sheer size of this game, and pretty much defines how sweet this game is.
I need help with the logistics. Colonize as many as possible? Focus on the population? Focus on Military Research to get a fleet to conquer, or Civilian? Where to balance? I just need some pointers, please. =/
I think Advent get 3 hanger bays for their Hanger Defenses, so that leads me to support them.
To help me learn the ropes of the game more effectively? Maybe doubleteam against 2 AI, and help me learn as we take them on? Something like that would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to help, please respond. My account name is Sykonaut, my Player name is Psychonaut. I'm on now...For awhile.
=O No. I thought that that would happen when I signed on, like in most games. Where do I get the patch?
Hey, I have the game, and tried to creat an account to go online, and it just won't let me. I input the code cirectly, using the dashes and everything. I tried it with capslock and without, and it's just not letting me to do, saying Wrong Version Of ironclad Online. Help?
