Jota, you have way too many capitals per support craft in your main fleet, dude. You should be packing some Kodiaks, and some LRMs to back you up, and atleast 2 of each support cruisers. That's my opinion, anyway. Someone with a regular fleet, such as maybe 3 Capitals, and 50-60 LRMs, and support cruisers and like 10-15 kodiaks would just demolish you. Especially the Kodiaks with their Intercept Ability.

Use Trade Ports to generate Credits. Don't forget to upgrade your Population Cap(The top left upgrade) ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU GET A NEW PLANET/ASTEROID. If you don't upgrade the pop by atleast one on recently colonized planets, then they drain your overall credit income. Try and get Trade Ports at every planet, to make a big chain. The bigger the chain, the more credit per port.

Yeah, that's what I died, Jugg. We had a 2v8, and he'd normally jump in first, and then I'd warp in, and most of their capital ships would be so tangled that they couldn't run in time.

The Tech Tree is like this. Military- Self explanatory. Researches stuff like weapon upgrades, armor upgrades, more ship types. Civilian- Your economy stuff, colonization research, etc. Fleet Logistics- You can upgrade how many capital ship you can have, and your overall 'Supply' number. Beware, the more you research Supply, the more of your overall income starts to dissappear. At the highest level, 75% of your income is not reaching you because it's sent to keep your

Yeah. Plus, he had a frigate factory at the planet, so he kept pumping out reinforcements from there too. I eventually went and destroyed it with my fleet, but again, the battle was already lost(Probably had been from the start.) I ended up replicating him(After I learned that you can set a rally point for your factories on your capital ship.) where I ended up driving someone out of their asteroid early game, because I kept sending reinforcements. =)

This was a game meant for low system requirements, so that everyone could play. That seems like it might take up a sizable portion of requirements. =)

If you lose a Military/Civilian lab, I know the tech level goes down and you can't use that tech anymore, but if you put another lab up, and the level goes back to what it was, do you need to re-research?

A 5v5 I played in a 5 system map. All 10 players located in 2 systems. Being newer then I was, I did my fleet building and all, and got a decent sized fleet. I was co-ordinating with an ally who was on the other side of an enemy, and we got ready to hit him. We both got delayed, as the player hit me, and rebels hit him. I had had no real fleet before, so I kind of surprised him this time, managing to pick off one of his capitals, while no damage was done to me. He then hit one of my 3 planets wi

Does anyone else think a messaging system between friends would be nice? It'd be easier to set up games that way, along with communication, since they don't have to be online to talk.

A 2v8 Hard AI I just had with a random player named Enfo. He did most of the pulling, doing most of the offensive work. I was on the defensive almost all the time, breaking fleets of AI over and over again, again with the help of Enfo. I lost a planet bordering the star and an asteroid bordering the star probably twice or three times. But we managed to retake them, and eventually take our system and hold it. Once we had our fleets stationed at the star, it was pretty much over. I'd hold the

Kind of...There's a 3 level thing that shows how YOU are ranked. 3 categories broken down in to 3 subcategories each. It doesn't tell you who's first or anything though. Just how well you are. It's easier if it's a 1v1...

Bump. More ideas? I want this to be noticed, and more people to offer suggestions/ideas.

Diplomacy is kinda lame, TBH. The only real diplomacy is AI telling you what to do, and if you don't do it(It's normally like attacking these ships.) than they get mad at you, and eventually turn on you if you keep ignoring. The thing that I DO enjoy is pirate bidding. It's like hiring mercenaries for a period of time, and is a huge strategical advantage to have them on your side for the first half of the game. But that's the only enjoyable diplomacy, IMO. On MP, the bidding wars can ge

Except that the AI already rebuilds at a massive rate. Which is fine with me, but it's like there's no reason to. Put those resources to USE. You can rebuild a fleet, because you've slowed me down by a ton. Besides, you need resources, and if the other person has all the planets and asteroids except your homeplanet, it doesn't even matter that you saved your fleet. Because they have a fleet that's like 10x bigger, with much better upgrades.
