On that note, notice that the only purely military ship, the Kol, for the TEC, is very very phallic. Alarming. It reminds me of the 'gay' bomb that was under design by the US. I assume this is like buying a hummer, or a viper. To scare the other races with large phallic symbols.

Heh. You're not supposed to setup a fleet of just carrier-cruisers. Capital ships with strikecraft have other uses, which is why you can have them like that. But here's, IMO, a decent setup. A veteran can correct me. You have some capital ships(Of your choice), heavy cruisers to get in close, and entangle, LRMs for damage, and then your carrier cruisers farther back with their fighter/bomber complement away from everyone. It's like a 3 line setup. HCs and Battleships/D

You guys just don't know the counters to ships. I make the max amount of turrets at every planet, in one big line from one phase lane to another. Nothing can stand in my march of turrets! Muahaha...Haha...Ha...Also, ships should not be able to shoot eachother. There should only be ramming of phallic shaped ships.

Honestly, you can do whatever you want. The dev team plays Sins, and they know what's going on. They'll get on it, if you want to take a break, fine. But it seems a shame to ditch a game because of some mistakes that were made, when it's overall a fantastic game. Patience is a virtue.

I'm trying to figure out why people think that our warships in the future will be drones. Unless we develop FTL communications, it seems that we would need to be relatively close by to control these drones. I have a hard time believing that we'll ever rely on machines as much as you think. It was predicted that it was the end of the era of footsoldiers when tanks came about. Yeah, they adapted. I think it applies here. There will always be some reason to have humans along, especially s

It happens to most people. I think it's even Frogboy, or Fraser get it when they host. Don't bother with it.

Lol, one more post. I am reminded of a short story, but for the life of me, cannot remember who was the author. It was about a world where everyone was equal. The prettier you were, the uglier the mask they gave you. The stronger you were, the more weight they made you carry around, the smarter you were, the worse implant(It'd make a horrible noise every 10 seconds so you couldn't have coherent though) you were given, and so on. Everyone is equal. But not everyone is e
You know, I read this and think, "This is what happens when kids grow up in a society that thinks it's wrong to keep score in Little League."
Yeah. The thing is, the odds will ALWAYS ALWAYS be stacked. You're never going to have people who are at the exact same skill level, have the exact same knowledge about the maps and game, and have the exact same willingness to play. You can make the situation better, to some extent, but odds are, the better player will alw

Dude, how long did it take you to type that, Limz. Lol. Credit anyway. I would love to have a conversation with you, you sound extremely intelligent, not to mention nice. =P I feel the need to repeat something. Strategy comes much more in to play in larger maps. In smaller maps, it is much more tactical play. Of course on small maps you're going to get rushed. Small maps and large maps require to entirely different types of play. And here's the kicker. If you survive their full

Most everyone else is fine. I think we can safely say.....It's your issue. ISP blocking all your ports? How is that ICO's fault?

And some of the people in here seem to be driving at people quitting when it's obvious they'll lose. Okay, in 1v1s, yeah. In ESPECIALLY 3v3s, 4v4s, and 5v5s(I don't play 2v2s much.) anything is possible. The game is NOT determined in the first 15 minutes. I had a teammate who lost his homeworld, but ran to near me, using the territory near me that was clear to rebuild as I was on the offensive. I had pretty much finished all 3 of the people off, except for one, and he

Heh. Yeah. I played a 3v3 online, and people started quitting(They give up, for whatever reason.) and AI takes over.... WOW. They moved ships around yes, and made ships. But utterely useless. He just kept a small fleet of his capital ship and 15 disciples sitting at a dead asteroid while his colonies were getting destroyed.

Couple of topics have been made about this. All agree. =P Again, though, I'll restate. Bring back color, and bring back sticking, but keep the allied chat where it is now, right after all, not in last place.

I have to agree with Norrec. I think you're exaggerating slightly. Full fleets and full battle caps. I have no idea what that means. They had all the fleet logistics and level 10 battleships? They knew the map? I think that's strategy. Maybe not in-game strategy, but it's overall strategy. They produced a fleet quicker then yours. Wow. Exploitation? And playing with someone you're familar with isn't exploitating. Sorry they like to play together and be on the same team
