If RA is nerfed then the Vasari have to be seriously revamped and improved because their race is a one-trick-pony. You have to tech to RA to be able to compete against the other 2 races because the other 2 races have several strategies to cripple or win the game. I will only play with this mod on SoSE. SoSE planet types are way to generic and this mod really makes up for it. I like 2 of Nathanenglish's ideas for new planets, the Swamp and the Broken planet (As to how you would put a Broken planet into SoSE, I don't know). However I think the Jungle is too much like the Forest, the Dune is too much like the Desert and the Dead world is too much like the Barren. Has anyone figured out how refineries work? I have noticed that if you put multiple refineries over a planet that you get more crystal and metal income. However, it seems as if certain planets like Ice planets and Volcanic planets gives better refinery income than other planets. How can you tell how much resource income a planet will give you with refineries so I can figure out where the best place to place them. Is there some type of mathematical formula you can use to e
It may be just me, but it really seems as if there are plenty of uncolonizable types already. Why not change the Gas Giant into a colonizable type. Maybe make it so there is a moon that you can colonize and make it so it is a 'culture' plant. Maybe the rare gases and chemicals in the gas giant allow your civilization to spread culture better.
