Hey guys, pretty simple. I'm at a video game design graduate program and I'm doing research on Demigod for a presentation but for the life of me I can't find what engine (ie Unreal, Gamebryo, etc) was used. Did Gas Powered Games make their own engine or use an existing one? If this is confidential information, I'd understand as well. Thanks for the help in advance.
I am going to half-agree with the OP. I did not play DotA, I found it to be a bad mod relative to the mod I did play, which was Battle Tanks. I think DG is absolutely more shallow at this point than Battle Tanks or DotA in some ways. Yes I have a GameStop purchased copy, legally registered and all that too, etc etc. Just clearing that up.
My copy of Demigod is no longer loading. It ran perfectly fine, single and multiplayer, until I was hosting a custom game and my game froze up for some reason. Since then, the game will not load. It starts up fine but after the cinematics, when the menus should show up, it just remains a black screen and nothing happens until I Ctrl-Alt-Del to shut the Not Responding game down. I've restarted my computer, I've reinstalled the game, and still nothing. I'm not su
I'm running on an ASUS laptop with a 7700m and dual 2.0s and it runs without a hitch at 1680x1050, albeit with the textures and detail at low. The game is extremely well coded, and I'm very impressed with how smooth it runs on such an underwhelming system.
Okay back on topic, since cleary John38BitchALot is derailing this. I am in the same scenario, I bought a copy from GameStop but I still have the digital copy preordered. I figure I'll give it to my friend, but I don't know if it's tied to my Impulse Account (thus potentially giving me 2 copies on one account) or what. I will wait and see until Monday but obviously a reassurance now would be nice :)

I saw on the This Came Out Today thread that there will be a Day 0 Patch to fix some issues from beta. Can I look at this anywhere? The reason I ask is I was one of the GameStop buyers (didn't know all the commotion was going on here, I didn't check the forums until after I got home and purchased it) and there WAS an update on Impulse I downloaded, was that the patch? It looks to match up with the preview article I saw (Erebrus' Bite does 900 damage at level 4 instead of 6
