nevermind, i figured it out. apparently windows 8.1 makes two launchers. one launches the game by itself and the other one launches the main screen with the "play game" "update game" blah blah blah options. that's the one i needed.
i just re-installed sins of a solar empire on my new computer and downloaded the two addons. they load up and play just fine, but i have to launch them seperately. before i used to launch the main game and then there would be an entrenchment and diplomacy button on the main menu that i could click to launch the addons. this option no longer exists. is there a way to get those two buttons to show up again? if it helps my new computer runs on windows 8.1, the old one was
i recently installed this game on my new computer and i can't update it. whenever i click update it sayd to register my game. i enter the code on the dvd box and it says the registered game has been attached to my account but it does nothing and i have no update. what do?
microsoft doesn't own bungie so they can't make anymore halo games :P i don't think bungie would make too big a deal out of a mod either
anyone have any helpful suggestions? like what to do first what kind of ships to create right off. just in general how to go about things?
i normally have so much excess crystal i sell it for cash. and i have huge fleets to take over all the planets. seems to work well its just everyone else has more money. not that it helps them all that much when i'm destroying their planets >:}

I am playing the single player game trying to get the hang of this game and am doing okay as far as i'm concerned except for one problem. everyone else is making many more credits( up to twice as much) as i am even though i have the most planets and they all have ful civilian infrastructure. what can i do to make more money???
it works but when i try to sign up it says there is already an account with my cd key. what do i do now?
