I suspect that Ironclad will be to Blizzard what Atlus is to Square Enix.

well, considering ogrovs can bust a fully upgraded starbase so easily, making them expensive sounds like a good balancing decision.
intuos 3, although i'm personally pining for a Cintiq :)
when done by ironclad? i did those drawings. In Photoshop.
oh, i forgot about this
it was going to be the Advent's minelayer orbital module. The devs thought it'd make a better anti-fortification ship.
I did a few portraits, yes. Most of them are in my deviantart gallery already, among others: http://ignusdei.deviantart.com/gallery/
I always regretted designing the disciples to make them look so fast, while all they did was stand still and shoot. Not anymore! This mod is makes them look awesome!
yep, i'm the guy that drew those. I also designed the Vasari Minelayer: The reason i haven't put it up is because the art wasn't quite as well executed as everything else. Ironically, it turned out into one of the coolest models in Entrenchment, if not all of Sins.
Craig has given me the greenlight to put some Entrenchment artwork out there, and i thought i'd share the wealth. So here they are, made by yours truly: <img src="http://fc79.deviant
I'm told that walter has a tendency to spawn underground, where you can't reach him. I think you can kill then resurrect him with console commands. Ah, there we are: http://forums.relicnews.com/showpost.php?p=3245647&postcount=673
And it crashes something fierce, too. Apparently it's got something to do with the Antialiasing and Anisotropic filtering. Turning those off completely (and forcing mipmapping in your graphic drivers' settings for the sake of visual quality) tends to improve stability. Another option is to turn off Autosaving completely: Saving a file just after loading a room is sometimes enough to push the engine over the edge.
Way to exagerate what i actually said, Cobra. My point is, as you've pointed out, is that it's not original. And i was not trying to be cynical about it, just pointing out the fact for future consideration.
Before anyone starts claiming that VATS is the best thing since sliced bread, keep in mind that Squaresoft had Bethesda beat by 8 years with its own Real-time/pausing combat system in Vagrant Story. And yes, you could cripple limbs in that game too, although it didn't happen very often.
well, here's to hoping Derek Smart doesn't get the FS license. Or worse, Uwe Boll.
by the by, i do recall both freespace games to have gone Open Source, meaning that a fully fan-upgraded version is available for free (legally so, i hope) on the internet.
heh, if it didn't make the cut, you probably don't. :)
if you mean a design that got the green stamp but had to be ultimately canned, the answer would be: not that i know of. the designs i did were used almost immediately. i think a couple of portraits i did didn't make the final cut, though.
Hi, Francois Cannels here, and i was the contracted concept artist responsible for quite a few new art assets and designs during the late devellopment cycle of Sins of a Solar empire. Quite a few of you might have questions about the visuals of the game, and while i can't answer all of them, i thought i'd finally drop in after months of lurking and expose myself to your inquiries. So, feel free to ask your questions right here, and i'll do my best to answer them. Also: Hi Craig! <BR
