We're sorry to hear that some people are still having trouble but the simple fact is that the vast majority are not.
sold 100.000 copies (or more) - 50 players are online. You could say 50 is not the vast majority, all right, but you have to ask: Why 50 players only ?!? I think you know best why you cant play sins online (from a technical view), but you cant expect your fans to the ICO hell for months. You should know this and patch the stability issues faster.

I stop playing sins too. I am totally disappointed about the support! Fist i was enthusiastic like alot and keep on playing although the online experience was horrible. Opened my ports, hosted and organized games, tried to help newbs ... But there is no support for online gamers here. Somewhere in space there is patch 1.1 and perhaps there is somebody who works on it on sunday before breakfast. Thank you, for me its too late now ... start playing EvE, which is ALOT of fun! Great communi
These problems are well known and patch 1.1 will change alot. Personally i´m hoping for a laddar system, but 1st we need stability. But a laddar system would be the next urgent step, because very often its hard to have 2 newbs in your 3v3 team. And yes sometimes i´m happy about a kick, because the AI does a better job xD but that´s not the way it should be ... ahh my 2nd wish for the future (i know i´m a feeded troll) are multiplayer matches played with wine ^^
If you think windows is the future and linux is the past (like C64)you´re just too lazy to change things (perhaps too old? xD ) "Noo let me be as i am ... i am ironic, that has to be enough ... those linux crackpots are pathetic do-gooders ... " And it works with wine in a singelplayer game ... just multiplayer doesn´t work. Is it really so much work?
you can´t play online with WINE ... LAN is also not possible atm ;/ .. or does someone find a solution for the WINE multiplayer games?
We don´t want to have just one race in sins. We don´t want to have just one strategy. We don´t want to have just one King who rules the world. We want diversity in our lives, in our mind and on our computer. That´s why we need Sins for Linux (well, and MacOS ^^).
At the moment a ranking system is not practicable. What we need is a differentiation between fun games and ladder games. I am not sure but i believe if you want to have good stats just play some games 1on1 against AI. Hopefully patch 1.1 will help here.
If you like to play online against human players - take sins ;)
please give us a chance to play Soase multiplayer games with Linux- or is this impossible for any reason?
germany here ... in six weeks i´ll travel to San Fransicso, so regards to reganomics. We need distribution in europe plz ^^ because our european playerbase is low, i only find enough games to chose from 1am to 13pm ;)
