Of course they are trying to get the game as perfectly balanced as possible. Frogboy is just saying that there is a limit to the time and energy that they can spend on play balancing when there are other parts of the game that need work. The other major problem is that a lot of posters are just bitching and whining about play balance when they lose. A lot of perceived imbalances are just people getting beat by better players. People need to be patient, it is going to take a long
The gaming industry as a whole could learn a lot from IC/Stardock... I wish to see mean kick ass games such as Sins in the coming years. Sins is just what the PC gaming doctor ordered to show all the other cookie cutting penny pinchers how its done.. Keep up the amazing work IC/SD & Thank You for this amazing piece of art..
From my experience Dawn of War is a more hardware demanding game then Sins of a solar empire is... also you gave 0 info on what your system specs are so no way to judge how well this game will run on your system...
I have the same issue where ill loose the visual & sometimes the sound effects to the units... the music is fine though... but it will be gone for like 30 min and then come back... and sometimes its not at the same time... the sound is fixable by just going to the sound menu and moving the sliders up then back down... but loosing the visual effects i just have to wait it out...
When ever i hit "update game" it just sits there doing nothing... and when I do it in game it quits out of the game and then just sits there... I can get the patch through other means but it would be nice if this would work...
Companies like Stardock & Ironclad Games are a breath of fresh air in the gaming industry... Epic was the developer I respected most in the industry... but we all know how they turned out once turned their backs on the fans that made them what they are... enough about them because they are dead to me... I just want to say the rest of gaming industry can learn a few things stardock on how respecting the ones that pay you and not treating every one like common criminals... Thanks
