Ok I must be doing something wrong..... I downloaded the mod, put it in the correct folder for entrenchment, ran the game, enabled the mod....................but nothing happens, nothing at all. It says the mod is loaded and shows the checksum (261523407) but that's it.... nothing has changed about the game at all. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Just looking for a mod like the old Sins Plus with lots of extra planet types and planet bonuses that will work with the official release of entrenchment. If anyone has a link(that isn't broken!) to one please put 'er up!

Does anyone have an updated version of Sins Plus? Or at least the ability to add in the extra planets and planetary bonuses for use with the latest version or preferably Entrenchment? Tried mixing some of the old files to get it to work but it was a no go. Anyone able to help?
I love how it says in big letters "KOL" on the side of the Kol Battleship, more cap ships need some signature symbols or words on them IMO. I totally agree the mines are highly annoying and very hard to work around, not to mention the computers go absolutely crazy with them, especially the Vasari. Fighters or bombers should be able to detonate mines without being harmed or there should be a USEFUL frigate that can spot them(not the dumb scout ship that's useless) or at the very least, the spotting range needs to be at least triple what it is now on the scout ships. I've run into numerous synch errors like the one you mention when playing on a lan, I don't know what the problem or the cause is but we never had this issue before the entrenchment beta, we've tried some crazy mods too. We had differences as drastic as two of my planets being lost on my partners view and on mine they're fine. Other more simple things such as his fleet crossing through the pirate world and being destroyed on my view but on his they go around.</p

At the very least, mines should only be deployable in a gravity well that YOU OWN. At the most there needs to be something useful (not a damn scout ship POS that'll die in half a second) that can spot mines for destroying. Also any defensive platform and fighters or bombers should be able to kill mines. As it stands now mines are ridiculous, especially when they can come lay them in your gravity well and it takes forever to fly scouts around to get rid of them. There s
So I don't know about anyone else but I'm having some SERIOUS syncronization problems when playing network games with my brother. Serious being like... my cap ship dies on his screen but not on mine, we both get attacked by the same computer at the same time by the same exact ships but to eachother the other isn't being attacked... pirates coming after both of us at the same time, starbases being destroyed on one persons view but not the other... The only thing I can find missing in this game so far is there's no option to start in the same star system for cooperative multiplayer games. Me and my brother have worked around this by restarting the game until it puts us in the same star, but it is highly annoying to restart 20 times before actually playing. :p
