Somewhat off the subject of your mod, how are the pirates in diplomacy? Are they anywhere near as brutal as the pirate mod? Been thinking about getting diplomacy but I just don't think it'll add anything I like other than extra hard computers. (and I'm sure there's some general AI improvements)

I know right? Sometimes games amaze me with some of the stuff they get released with. A classic example that will never die is the old Double Dragon II game that said in the intro story part about "Bimmy and Jimmy" going on their quest. How did they miss a typo like that?! As far as the sounds go, the ones for Malice and Resurrection are horrible too but they don't get spammed so they aren't as noticeable.

Yeah sure enough it's the Effect_ReactiveNaniteArmour.ogg being spammed a lot at once, I don't know why but I've never had that issue outside of this mod, maybe it's just that I was using the mod before and after the file got updated with a game update, oh well. But damn whoever made that sound should be hog tied and made to listen to it for a few hours straight.

On the note of sounds, I'm running the 0.9951 version for entrenchment and there's a sound that occurs I believe from the vasari support craft ability that more or less heals (I forget what it's called) though it may be from something else, only thing I know for sure is it's a vasari sound, either way the sound is gosh awful annoying, it sounds like finger nails on a chalkboard or metal on a sharpening wheel or something but I can't find the sound file to get rid of it. Yeah you can add in whatever music you want, just rename it to the file you want to replace, like "Battle 1.ogg" ect. and it will play in the place of it. I believe you can also just add in more of them but I didn't mess with that much. If you don't have a program to convert the files into .ogg files it should work just fine to save them as MP3's and simply rename the file extension to OGG.

Loving how some of these changes look, it's been a while since I've looked into any Sins mods as I rarely play Sins these days. Gotta say I love all the races added and the fact that there's no specific theme followed (like star wars or wing commander ect) but that a bunch of races from different worlds are thrown in there. Unless you're adding in new races or new sound files, the only thing you should have to do is replace the sound files that are already there. Just make the sound you want and make sure it's relatively in the same format and name it the exact same thing as the sound file you want it to replace. I replaced all the music files in one of my mods and that's all I had to do, replaced a few sounds too. You shouldn't have to 'edit' anything, only replace. (and by replace obviously

Yeah oh well.... great mod but constant mini dumps = unplayable. I've tried it without any other mods to make sure it wasn't mod issues. I'm going to assume the issue is when the computer researches something because the dumps have always been 1:00:00-1:20:00 in and we can't get past an hour and 20 without a dump.

Well I'm running this mod with Sins Entrenchment v1.05 and I can't get more than about an hour into a game without having a mini dump, I can load a save and sometimes get further but it always starts dumping an hour in. Also there are TONS of 'string not found' and for the alliance one of the research subjects is 'string not found' and the description is also 'string not found' so I'm going to assume it isn't exactly entrenchment 1.05 compatible even though it's supposed to be.
