It's really not a question anymore why evolution should be accepted. If evolution is philosophically- rather than scientifically- proven to be false, than what can you prove through human logic and reasoning? Certainly not the existence of God or the verity of religion. That being said, Science and Religion describe two very different things. They can logically coexist if they stay in their separate realms. Intelligent Design deserves no room in our science courses because there is no scientific

All I'm saying, is that if we start teaching ID in schools, our universities will fall next. I can already imagine the world laughing at America even more.
There was a time where science said the Earth was flat.
Actually, this was never believed by science. This was included in some children's book somebody during that time wrote. Also, science has become more rigorous since the onset of the scientific method...
Before I start my diatribe, I would like to declare that I am a God believing Christian and that I'm abhorred at some people blur the line between Intelligent Design and the belief in God. First of all, the theory of evolution will never precede the philosophical need for an explanation of life. Like the pope said[link="http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19956961/"]WWW Link[/link], "They are presented as alternatives that exclude each other,” the pope said. “This clash is an absurdity because on one ha
@ Durikkan: Apparently, the guy pirated his game off of a bittorrent... Obviously this guy's just trolling. I don't expect anyone to take him seriously
Sins is sold under a reasonable price, IMHO.
You can't do that in starcraft. Closest you get is to attack move behind the enemy: hit 'A', and left click on the other side of the enemy units. Your units will attempt to move toward where you clicked, but will attack every enemy unit they encounter along the way.
I second that. The only other games I can think of with the feature we want is the homeworld games.
I tried the attacking stacks method and it seems to work. I'd still like to see group attacking added though.
That's why I never do mods; I did twice now with two different games, and it totally messed the games so a total reinstall was needed. And if this mod is so "great" why would the devs not put some type of setting with the game. I can put my resolution up really high, but since I can't read the text at that great setting, I have to keep it at "1024x768 :/
You can always uninstall the mod, it's modular here in SoaSE rather than full file integration. I think the fon
He means multiple units. Like if you want your fleet to engage a specific cluster or "group" of enemy units before the rest... or focus fire on the enemy fleet as opposed to the gauss platforms. In Homeworld one would CTRL and click drag select the targets and the command would be given to attack those targets first before just engaging targets at will.I'm not sure it can be explained any more plainly.
I'd actually prefer to attack this way since sometimes when attacki
In homeworld and homeworld 2, you could tell your ships to attack a certain groups of ships by first clicking your ships and then hitting ctrl+ selecting the enemy. Is this possible in sins?
I'd like the font mod fixed as well. It's quite useful.
