doesnt help that if I open a battle group's tab, then click a planet, the empire tree scrolls all the way to bottom, making me for te scroll back the top and if I have alt of jumps all jumping around..forget about it
also, on the defense aspect the comp wont do things like rush through a border world to get to your core worlds and trash everything before your defense fleet gets there it will attack the first world it gets to, and wont leave till it falls, so you can stack all your defenses on a chokepoint world, and effectivly be defending your whole empire

or, if you have the power, smack that planet with a surgical strike more often than not, the npc will build 3-5 culture towers at a planet, so, use a fleet to draw them to another world, then move in a fleet than can smash the towers fast, and then bail
to be fair, the only reason most ships look the same in Eve, is a problem most online pvp games face one setup type excells so everyone uses that its why you see vagabonds rigged for speed flying everywhere
Kol for its raw damage abilty (you just cant hate that flak burst abilty) marza for planet killing and soaking hits
makes sence, they can rig a shield around a whole world the energy to direct fire at a ship would pale by comparation
I did wonder why you cant have a sort of regional captial in a huge map.
