I don't know about you guys, but reformatting fixes all my problems :D
for single player. i want big maps for single player
Then use galaxy forge to make them. Or are you just lazy?
This is where we as the players can tell the creators of this amazing game what we want improved! For me: 1) The ability to name fleets 2) bigger maps (20 stars 1000 planets for those of us who want the match to last longer) 3) more than 10 players per map (maybe as an option for those hopefully future galactic sized map
I think Ironclad should make an expansion with the features that I want, and not the features that YOU want. Otherwise it's only going to be a piece of junk.
Yes. :D
Seriously though, oly Magic Karp Craig! I thought this was serious for a second!! Does Iron Clad really have nothing to do?
I don't think Craig Fraser is the only worker at ironclad Thrawn.
Use another program to take screenshots. I would suggest fraps or xfire... Use cinematic mode and take the screenshots using these programs.
Other thoughts: Why cant games like SINS actually show real time population. I think it would be way cooler to be able to have like billions of people like we have right here on Earth. Continuing on from my first thoughts, when starting the game you would start with 2 people (Population: 2) and you would start of in a place like a garden. Those people would be like Adam and Eve, and have lots of children. With them you would have a population of like, lets say 10. From then on, you
Nice job putting these 2 essential mods together in a neat package Adama. I love the Sins Plus mod because it improves the game to make it a little deeper, which is something it needs. I like the Balknight's Graphics because it makes the game look much much better in so many ways especially how the frigate factory and cap ship factory glow to show that they are in action. I believe this must be put into the regular game because it is just extremely essential.
Your copy of Sins lets you start in prehistory, build cities on your planets, and develop into a space faring empire? Neat, I must have gotten a bum copy.-----------------------------------------------------------------There is a game like that.It is called Spore.
I knew someone would say Spore. :)
You are right, I've played 1000s of games in RoN online. It was great...
What lol is mario kart and RTS? It seems I've been playing the wrong version all this time.
I wish there could be a deep and complex RTS or TBS(I prefer RTS) where the smallest maps would be like one galaxy. Every player picks from several races and would start out on their own planet and be able to explore the planet, mine its resources, build small villages (hamlets) that with money and population will grow slowly into metropolis, and that you can do research to eventually be able to build space stations to go off into space and explore. From there you can continue teching up to ev
I loved RoN for years and years. But now it's..... yeah
Also there could be another problem which I had and I can help you with that. But first I must be sure you put the map in the right folder... :( There have been a few threads about this and they are already solved so idk why you started a new one... But anyways help me help you :)
I put them map under the main SINS directory under the GALAXY directory.
You really need to read what I asked you so that I can help. There are TWO (2) SINS/GALAXY folders on your computer... Give me the EXACT PATH (eg. C:\Users\PhonSiE\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Galaxy)
Exactly what is the path of the Galaxy folder which you are speaking of? Most likely you put the map in the wrong place.
I am sorry for being a narrow minded troll and will never do it again. ;) (I did not notice I was on the last page of the thread so I could not find where everyone found out everything.) lol and all I did was make you type so i affected your life in some way!!!
It still makes sense atm but IMO it was better when more than one can be built at a time.So you read the entire thread, then disregarded all the posts of people testing what happens when you build ships with multiple factories? Oh. OK.
THIS THREAD IS ABOUT BUILDING MULTIPLE FACTORIES. STOP STARTING FOOLISH ARGUMENTS WITH ME WHEN YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.
Basically, the more you have the better. You can use the gold you get from trade to buy metal and crystal when needed.
Yea and if another race such as vasari that does not have trade ports but has lots of resources and needs credits, they (I) will put up the resources on the black market for sale and you buy from them giving them all your money you make from trade ports for resources they don't need. (They make 100% profit if no one else is selling on black market.)
Of course vasari never needs trade ports since tec already is making the money and will soon be buying resources vasari sells on the black market. It is a win win situation for vasari.
t's not entirely illogical that spamming Tradeports has no deminishing returns. Who's there to decide that having 3 space ports isn't good and could actually increase income per Treace port.
I heard somewhere that every trade port increases total income from each trade port by .
Are you even reading this thread before replying to it? 4 frigate factories DO produce 4 ships at a time.
Hmm. It seems you are not reading because I read every single post before I reply to a thread. And sorry for the double post before.
Ah, too bad. It would be cool if it worked the other way, because then you could theoretically get two (or more) ships built at the same time.-HM
Before the patch I noticed that ships would come out from each factory instead of decreased build times depending on how many you place. (eg. 4 frigate factories = 4 ships at a time) It still makes sense atm but IMO it was better when more than one can be built at a time.

Well you can make your own maps in the galaxy forge tool on this site and spawn as many stars as you want very easily. But I haven't tried going too far. Maybe I'll try that now :HOT:
Just a suggestion- maybe the scuttling button could have a different graphic or be a bit more obvious about what it does. I only knew about it because I really paid attention during the tutorial, but the button's view doesn't give an impression of what it does inherently.
If the button was any brighter I would be clicking it all the time by accident.
Galaxy forge is not stupid, it works. If you have any problems with it say them in more detail.
