i played it an liked only for the graphix and the story line, which was attention grabbing, yet it didn't really seem to deliver and it only managed to scare me a few time, but other than that i just went through it for the fps aspect of it. but other than that it is a game i would recommend.
all i can say is that if i had a choice between Sword of the Stars and Starcraft, i'd play starcraft. basically its a really crappy rushed version of sins, dont get it, trust me, not worth the time to complain about how low end it was. stick with playing sins
yeah i got something along those lines when trying to experiment with mod making, but alas when i tried loading the mod i got a minidump, and i was sure that i had all of the GameInfo files for the version 1.03
have you tried uninstalling Sin and reinstalling?
well STAKLER is a great game, although the story line could have been better, not to mention that the level of freedom wasnt all what people made it out to be. for me it was that i played it because it looked pretty. but over all the ending was good since there are alternet endings
as a gamer i have this game, its awesome, considering the grahix and the realism that it holds. the only thing that it lacks is the freedom of Oblivion or other games like it. but i have had issues with it such as crashing at loading screens, but i have fixed it other than that great story line and gameplay, i was addicted to it for the longest time.
are you sure its the actual exe file for sins that is at 100% because i had a problem although unrelated to this game in where Norton was making my windows explore exe run at 100% IF YOU HAVE NORTON GET RID OF IT!!!!
after working around in the mulitplayer I've discovered that the minidump (For me) occured when another player did a specific action (In my case and ally moving his fleet to a different planet). testing it numerous times have in my opinion that it might be a game conflict with a code then again the save might be corrupted.
it is made of win and awesome!!!! only downside is that its extreamly long, the subspace emissary took like 9 hours to get through it.
What about the mini dump errors???
same here, it could be a number of things ranging from ethernet, internet, or RAM from what i can see. although RAM seems least like then again mini dump sounds like a RAM error. hopefully there be a fix in a new patch.
