TY for the help, and yes it does work. Runs fine with all visuals maxed too. Unfortunately my poor processor means games become near unplayable fairly quickly on large maps. C'est la vie :(.
Whenever you colonise a planet you are given one builder unit for free. You can increase this number with logistics upgrades. Just click the new planet and you will get a build menu. You can also build ships and things directly from the Planet build menu assuming you have the appropriate factories.
Apologies if this question has already been asked; I did look around but didn't find anything about it I am wondering if the game will run on my GeForce FX 5900u. I realise that it is technically a few models down from the minimum requirements, but does that mean the game won't even TRY try to run? If so is there some way to attempt to force the game open? i.e. with a command-line switch. It is technically a DX9 card after all, even though they never worked properl
