Don't feel bad Ace, most older players still think they see the hot, young woman when they look at SOASE. If you see SOASE as the aging hag, just remember SOASE puts out and has a lot to offer. Get into modding the game, but at least get into it. It's not as glorious looking as newer 4x RTS's, but it does have some depth. J

Ship crews give their ships names even if said ship isn't going to be around long. It's just one of those things that could give more immersion that wasn't done.

Eilarais, 7DS did the same thing for its refineries, but then we boosted the cargo level. Another thing that really helps, but requires some work, is to increase the map scale x7 (most are 25000 units, so 175000), and baseHyperspaceSpeed (in Player(race).entity) is x7 also (base for vasari is 29500, so 206500). This way, planets are more spread out and you don't notice because ships travel there 7x faster -all balances out. Reduces lag by a lot.

The mesh and textures have been in the game since vanilla sins. Everything is in txt format, not bin so it's easy for people to see what's been done. Zombie, if you'd post those on 7DS secret hideout, I'll work on getting them in.

just downloaded it, the only issue is that it takes the decimal value out past the millionth. Resize the mesh 1.75. It seems to work nicely in game despite the decimal issues. we'll, its the phase jumping one that's in question. modders will do whatever the hell they can do, but people with vanilla are fairly stuck with what's on the disk.

Just throwing it out there to see if people back this. I, personally, think all starbases should be able to move about the gravity well, but not phase jump -it effectively gives the player 2 titans on the field whereas all other factions only have 1. This is not me trolling or hating. If I do either, it will be obvious and EPIC! So, for removal or not?

I have 3 achievements. I *(^*^%$ over the TEC, Advent and Vasari. Does that make me an achievement whore or just a whore?
