I tested this out some and made a post about the topic. https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/421209 To summarize ships hit with boarding party are not receiving any kind of boarded status and after several attempts I was unable to capture a single ship. Corsev had only the boarding party ability.
Well, I tried using the corsev some .... and capturing ships appears to be broken. I tried to capture some neutral ships at an asteroid. The DOT was defiantly active as i waited until 100 hp was left on each target before using boarding party. Ship did in fact have the DOT on it working but when it ran out of hull it just exploded, no ship for me. Happened twice. I have been playing advent a lot and have run into a question about Anima Tempest. When I was trying it out I either got about 2 extra squadrans of strikecraft or sometimes it seem as though nothing happens. Can someone let me know what exactly it really does and if there is some specific way to use it?
