Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Tried it again with a blue sun, as usual. It starts out as a normal black skybox but as soon as I load, the red nebula's back. I've tried it on "Areolian Sector", "Grind Stone" and "Twin Empires" (large scenarios) a number of times.

Nope, the sun's green and the skybox's still red...

A funny thing happens when I load a game, the background always turns red (the red nebula background), no matter what I do. I've tried turning off the "Use Colored Skyboxes" effect in the game options (as a matter of fact I've tried turning off ALL effects in the game options), but the game still has that annoying non-realistic red nebula background whenever I load a game. I start a game with any background, I finish playing for the day, I return to lo
