Network Error in Sins Multiplayer Sins Forums

Can anyone please help me. I have been trying to play this game online for two months now with very limited success. I bought the digital download through Stardock Central and installed it. It started fine and I created my account. I logged in and played with no problems. Once I logged out I couldn't get back in as it kept saying I was already logged in. I have a slightly different problem to this. I created the account fine and got into the lobby. however after leaving to adjust my game settings I now cant get back in as it says I am already logged in ???????
