That guy needs to learn better sentence structure. I had no idea WTF he said in his rant. - PR-0927

Well, why do you need more types of ships. Perhaps there aren't any more, maybe it isn't the lack of information. The UNSC suffers in space combat for a reason, and are at a SERIOUS disadvantage in almost every advantage. Why not make them unique from the Covenant and not give them both analog ships of each other. The Covenant could have many more types of ships (or whatever canon says) which are more powerful, but cost a lot, and the UNSC could have less types which are cheaper, or whatever. Th
It's not my mod, but I have to say: you're allowing for fanon? Why? The mod would be better without it. - PR-0927
That's simply amazing. - PR-0927
well having 2000 planets under one ISD isn't domination but honestly most systems outside of the core would just need some customs cruisers and star fighters to handle day to day operations.
True that, LOL. You're right about the cruisers and fighters - that's what I meant about less "caring" about the further planets. - PR-0927
PR-0927with 2 million member worlds and about 50 million other governmental bodies and jurisdictions (including free floating space stations) the standard sector compliment of ISDs is 24, that means each ISD has to handle superiority over roughly 2000 !populated! worlds on a day to day basis (assuming a thousand sectors) with fleet support of probably a few thousand frigates and other combatants associated to providing local security. In the core worlds obviously larger detachments are ava
Well, it's been said in some SW book that one or two ISDs are capable of dominating a small system (like three to four planets) and keeping it under rule. The amount of soldiers, spacecraft, vehicles, and weapons aboard one ISD is absolutely astonishing and overwhelming. And to deal with pirates, yes, the GE would mostly likely just send along a VSD/two VSDs or perhaps a small team of frigates. Imagine this game with a land aspect, and then imagine it with this mod. It's be eve
I just want mass scuttle to see massive explosions. :P Haha, just kidding, but it is enjoying to watch. But yeah, mass scuttle seems like a necessary feature, although I haven't needed it yet (but I haven't played enough, and I'm sure I'll need it soon). - PR-0927
I disagree. There is nothing 'mindless' in Starcarft. It's fast and micromanagement-heavy, but it is not mindless in any shape or form. In fact, you can fortify your base in Starcraft to counter many rushers just as well, you just need to do that MUCH faster. That's the whole problem - it's way too fast for us 4Xers. That's all.Sins is finally a sort of RTS we can master and enjoy, as it moves at our pace and incorporates our style of gameplay, only more fluent and streamlined.
<br/
I find SoaSE to be more strategy-involving than every RTS I have played. I have never played SC, and will likely not play SC2 (but I might give it a try), nor have I ever played any Warcraft game (and I don't intend to WoW and W3 aren't my thing). But, I have played plenty of RTS games, from SWGB and its expansion, to EE and its expansion, to CCG and its expansion, to HW2, to EaW, and the demos of both CC3 and WiC. Oddly I never played any AoE game (but SWBG was based off the same engin
Now, I agree that religion should be nerfed in terms of importance - to me it's as important as someone's eye color. It really doesn't matter. It's a belief that can never be proven, and thinking too much about it, or wasting time fretting over it, is rather stupid. And while I am a cynic of religion and believe China's stance on religion is headed towards the right track, I believe it is fatally...bad. People should be able to practice whatever they want, without interference
Oh come on. Evolution is proven. It exists. Anyone who refuses to believe so is fooling themselves. However, I do believe that evolution and God can exist at the same time. Believing in one doesn't mean you cannot believe in the other. That being said, I do not believe in Intelligent Design, for the most part because I am not a Christian. In fact, I have no freakin' idea what I am - raised Hindu, but I don't care for religion much - I fear it starts wars. And religion

I have to agree. I've been playing games for a very long time, and I haven't ever seen a company be so dedicated. Of all the companies I have ever bought a game from, Stardock keeps up its support and listens to customers like every company should. EA/Dice claim to, but abandon patches every once in a while, or just stop patching games. LucasArts used to make legendary games with great community support, but as of the last few years has become a sad company, making mediocre games with horrible s
Hey Eville, I was just wondering if you had seen my latest post on your Warlords Forums in regard to my potential assistance with lore or 2D icon art? Sorry to be a bug/bother. - PR-0927
