Yeah, I found that out from tech support about 2-3 hours ago, and fixed everything. I'm so glad my parents are lazy.

Well, it appears that that would require my dad knowing what our router password is. I guess I'll just have to wait for the update.
Hmm... so if I get off my ass and mess around with my router (in a productive way) I'll never get stuck in the migrating screen because it will just throw the hosting privilege on me? Sounds like a plan, I guess. Thanks for the help.
In general, I'd say that the power of strike crafts depend on your faction. As Vasari... I found them of very little use. TEC were slightly better with them, but the Advent really shine using them. I rarely build Carrier Frigates - enemies focus in on them due to their very low armor. However, anyone who hasn't played with a fleet of nothing but strike craft carriers has missed out - you can generally kill your foe before he/she(/it?) can even reach your ships. The other great use of st
I've started to get into multiplayer, and I'm really enjoying it. However, I've only managed to finish one game out of 3, meaning I doubt I'll venture back into multiplayer until I have a solution, which saddens me, as sins is an awesome game. In the other two, I've gotten a little into the game (I say a little, maybe 30mins, 60mins...ish... wasn't counting.) when suddenly the network screen pops up and claims that me and my opponent(s) are migrating, and gives me buttons telling me that
Got any links to those ships? It'd be interesting to see them.
Is it a bad thing that the game would become a race for the cannon? I mean, FPS games often have settings like capture the flag, king of the hill, straightforward annihilation. This would just make another game setting.
Seeing as (in my opinion) the advent's best capital is the coloniser anyway, on big maps I generally end up with 3 or four or the beasts. ^^
Yeah, I thought it would be something like that. Pity, though. I liked these guys. :)
I've taken it out during relic hunting for the title, both at the slightly powerful stage with 4 cap ships and a bunch of good frigates and cruisers, and at the incredibly powerful stage, with 16 capital ships, and a fleet worth 2000 (maximum). With heavy casualties. Unless going for relics or suchlike, theres not much point in getting them. I mean, its only an income of 7 and you can't build any logistics (though they make handy novalith cannon platforms) I would say that on small and
So... I've played all the the factions, and I've played to a pretty advanced state of play in each. And yet there is one unit, one of the units I was most impressed by in the sceenshots, that I cannot find in any faction, no matter how hard I look. They look a bit like floating aztec temples in space. Anyone seen them?:
I wouldn't have used Advent for the Capitol Ship only achievement. But, they are pretty good. And they have excellent broadcasting/allegiance powers, which means you lose less of your precious money to distance. And to the post 2 above me, how can you call TEC weak late game? Novalith Cannons are just incredible once you have two or more, and if you manage to research "insurgents" your enemies can never leave a planet in the middle of nowhere and consider it to need no defending.
Do remember that some of our planets are made of fire. Also, have you looked at the planets? The have large "hubs" floating directly above the surfaces of the planets, which we can assume are "space elevators" (this is not some made up fantasy idea, as soon as NASA can build a "rope" with enough tensile strength, we are likely to see them popping up). This means that ships no longer need to be built that can exceed the escape velocity of a planet, which means it is very easy to get into
