I wonder how easy it will be to use all of these abilities. One could set them to autocast, but run the risk of the wrong thing being used.
I think what you want fills a niche that few fall into, making a game that deep and complex commercially unviable :/ Whether it would be the game for me I don't know, certainly, Sins is not a deep game, you scratch the surface and find nothing; a buttercream surface with uncooked dough for a centre. I've never played Sins with any sound, I've always turned the audio right down and just played music instead; my point being, I've never had any trouble with worrying what is being said; surely it's obvious because you've just told it what should be done/ the game's UI tells you if something can't happen. For that reason, I think understanding what is being said shouldn't really be an issue. As to the files you've posted, they're very good, still slightly robotic, but I may be confusing thro

What is actually included at the moment, the first post is confusing. It sounds like Sins Plus, Bailknights mod, Skybox and your own two mods, that right? Secondly, how balanced is this mod? With all these different races included, it sounds like a complete mismatch of different mods just thrown together with little regard as to how well they complement each other. It does not seem likely that the Star Wars, Trek etc ships will be balanced to the original game but instead to the specific mod

While I love the super weapon idea, I would love to see a ship that is capable of taking on a fleet at some point through sheer fire power. If, for instance, you made tech research a lot slower, you ould hypothetically provide say, three Titan options at the very end of the military lines, one with the super weapon, one that has huge armour and has many guns that fire lots, and something like a siege ship, perhaps that is able to jump to any planet, if that can be modded, or a moveable version o

Surely you could simply delay the time before the pirates start attacking and then make the raids more dangerous, if possible have the intensity of the attack scaled by how much is paid to the pirates. SOunds much more simple, and I don't really liek the idea of having a fourth faction to contend with.

This could all be sorted out if you couldn't be allied with someone your allies are at war with, or if the diplomacy was more indepth, rather than do what I want or I'm going to kill you. The idea of different stars having different abilities sounds interesting Uzii. Blue stars are the hottest, with red or yellow being the coolest I believe, so would it be possible to have a blue star reduce hull strength or population, for instance? Maybe even, if its possible, a black hole that would automatically destroy any ships that jumped into its gravity well.
