How difficult is it to convert a Star Trek Armada ship model into the MESH format that Sins uses? Are there free apps that could be used for conversion?

The file to edit that allows you to specify which ships you start with is: GalaxyScenarioDef.galaxyScenarioDef You will need to define the ship if it is a new custom ship in the 'planetItemTypeCount' section, where you give it a 'designName' like: "Vulcan:Frigate:Scout", and the reference to the entity, e.g. entityDefName "FrigateVulcanScout". Make sure you increment the planetItemTypeCount value by 1 if you're adding 1 ship. You will then need

I have gone through and made all the ships using strike craft have a Hanger point reference in the mesh file. Thanks so much for this tip, as well as how to accomplish it, as a lot of those ships did not have this, and I had very frequent spawns way outside the gavrity well. I have a bunch of differing factions, but two of them were not using all the statcount types. Thanks so much for the responses. It's given me something to look into as I've been bewildered with what to do. On 1, I haven't changed the roleTypes or the StatCount types much at all. Perhaps only two ships, but they weren't in the most recent game that I play tested which gave the problem. Hey Guys, I've been making my own personal MOD, and have come across the following issues quite a bit while play testing it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how any of them may be resolved? Is it possible to upload this MOD anywhere else than where it is now? I've tried downloading the current version many different times and I always gets an error in the middle of downloading. I was able to get an earlier version of this MOD sometime ago, and wanted to get the recent version to use all the improvements. It would be much appreciated if it could be placed somewhere else. Thanks Teal_Blue and GoaFan77 for posting instructions and links to this Mesh resizer. I've had a lot of fun resizing models of some of the ships and structures in my favorite MODs. Stuff that I thought were either way too big or not large enough, and essentially making a MOD MOD that suits my liking.
