And don't say "everything"... I'm a new player (just got the game yesterday) and I've found it difficult planning ahead for things. I've got a lot to learn, so any advice such as what's already been posted is extremely helpful.

So I'm not really a PC gamer, I'm probably going to get a lot of crap for it. But I heard about SoaSE and thought it sounded awesome. Pretty much the only games I play on the PC are RTSs like Starcraft and the Total War series.
