1st - you cannot place bounty on yourself. 2nd - bounty accomplishes 2 things .........1. The pirates will attack whomever has the highest amount of bounty placed on them at the time the pirate attack is launched. .........2. Whenever you attack an enemy that has bounty placed on them and kill anything that enemy has (ie structures, ships, etc...), you get more credits based on what you kill. These credits come off of the bounty that is placed on that

Is it fair that Stardock ONLY focuses on the online players but leaves those seeking a more rich understanding of the SoaSE universe hanging out to dry?
Double touche here.
2.Never should their be a phase capable star base, or a star base that can be broken down and moved. I still stick with you should be able to build tugs from capital ship factories that have no shields, low health, and no weapons that can move a sb with them.
This is an interesting idea...but then you run into this...well if the SB can be moved by a "Tug" then any placed structure should be able to be moved by a "Tug."
We get that it is about defense. I for one, love defense, as I turtle in all of my RTS's, and that is finally a viable strategy in Sins. But the TEC and the Advent both got ships to somewhat counter all of the new defensive stuff. What does the Vasari have? Their starbase. Which means you have to use it offensively. But the only way for it to be a viable counter is if it is upgraded before it goes into the enemy gravity well. Which requires

You guys just don't seem to be getting the whole point behind what this micro-expansion was supposed to emcompass. It was supposed to add DEFENSIVE strats to the overall game to help balance out all of the OFF and spamming issues. I mean it's great that they added some possibilities to make the SB be OFF, or set it to be culturally efficient or trade efficient...but the whole gist of the SB was meant to be more DEF to start with...not OFF. Like I said...it's not that har

But it should be extremely difficult to build a SB in an enemy well, especially if that well is heavily defended. The point of Entrenchment is to add a more DEF style to the game. If you can jump into a well and build and upgrade a SB real quick...then what good would it be to have a strong DEF set up. It should be hard, or next to impossible to set up a forward base like this (in a heavily <span style="font-size: medium; color: #993300; background-colo

We started a MP game on Saturday (FFA) with the BK mod (updated to run with Entrencment). This is my 1st game with this group of guys and must say that it was very fun and there definitely was no spamming going on that I could tell. We played for around 4 hours and got a nice chunk of playing time in and everything ran smooth and fun. We are picking the game back up tonight. I will be sure to let the guys running this know that you posted on here and showed interest

SB's SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO PHASE JUMP PERIOD!. Sorry for All Caps...but peeps need to realize and understand this concept. It would completely ruin the game.
I agree with tkins. I use to think the other way but after getting use to fast it is not a clickfest. It is very much strategic and if you play someone with equal talent then your game can go on for hours. 2 hours is getting to my limit as if you go that long its intesive and very fun but I get tired lol. I like team games and unfortunately u can only play them on larger maps so it takes a long time. But seriously its so much fun online everyo

They definitely need some more range or at least upgrades to range. Th Vasari prob don't need more range tho; seeing as they can move anywhere they need to go within that well.
Has anyone even noticed a change when you upgrade to the 2nd weapon tier for "extreme range"? I haven't and think that may be most of the problem, but if it is working as intended then definitely needs a range increase. I definitely also agree that starbases need SOME DEFENSE against bombers, and no hangar bays with fighters isn't really the answer. Flak guns would be great, even if it were the tier 3 weapon upgrade. For

SD/IC is all about being out of the norm and doing things different and they have done an excellent job so far in doing that. I certainly hope that they don't forget this and get off the beaten path to please a few guys that want shorter and shorter games where everything is spam and click. I believe in what SD/IC is trying to achieve and think that they are in the process of changing what the future of PC gaming is going to be like in the coming years

For those of you who want the twitchfest, just set all things to fast and do a small map...you'll be done in no time and not have to worry about the more intricate aspect of the game. ****************************<b

They definitely need more range, but not have the ability to move (unless you are playing the Vas). The whole point is to instill defensive tactics. In a MP game the other, and Advnet player had his SB right in the middle of the Grav well by his planet. Not much strat there. You should place it by the phase lanes that are connected to the rest of your planetary system. With an increased range and strategic placement...the Advent SB can be detrimental to any fle
I've scuttled mines as TEC plenty of times. The problem is that it works just like scuttling ships or structures, and you can only scuttle one at a time. With mines, they need to let you select and scuttle an entire group. They should probably add some sort of confirmation dialog for that though. It apparently doesn't work for me. I select a mine, and the little "scuttle" button is greyed out. The hotkey for scuttling doesn't
