So strategy to you is more units with less "micromangement"?
Please don't try and make the argument that clicking the fastest is considered strategy. After all, generals issue orders--they shouldn't have to baby-sit units. Especially when units are considered "trained" units. I've played Warcraft III, and I got sick and tired of sending my units into battle and watching them fall apart like a poorly sewn piece of cloth. Sins' AI is one of the greate

Why not make it an option like locked teams? the devs could add in something like 'viewable factions' or 'viewable alliances'.
Tried looking about 5 threads down the list before making a new thread?
Comsat has detected that more patience is required! My friend just got this game TODAY. Should be a good experience for him.
Every map is different, but some contain different stars, and some have wormholes surrounded by gravity wells. On a map where there are multiple stars, researching long range jumps will allow you to travel from star to star. Therefor, more planets become open to exploration. On maps with wormholes, the worm hole navigation does the same thing, except between wormholes, rather than stars. Hope that helps.
I actually agree with you. I moved away from the TEC and started playing the Advent because of their disheveled look. Perhaps in the expansion, one of the new factions could be the 'real' human faction. They could be more imperialistic, and their ships could have a more cohesive appearance. I recently moved back to the TEC, because I just can't be successful with the advent, for some odd reason. I like the voiceover for the advent, but their ships seem lacking in quality.
How's this for a multi-player game mode?: First, it would work with even teams, such as 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, ect. Second, one team would have to escort an objective-type ship from point A, to point B. The other team tries to stop them from getting to their destination. It would be similar to the fps gametype 'VIP'. Everyone on the defending team guards one ship, and tries to get it safely across the map. Everyone on the attacking team has the simple objective of blowing it u
There are certain technologies that allow for a faster replentish of antimatter--such as the advent, which can steal antimatter from enemy ships to add to their own. I'm not sure if there's a technology that directly adds to it though, such as a per second thing. You can see how much antimatter a ship has by highlighting it with your cursor. It will show up under a small list including the ship's health ect.
This is identical to another thread. Anyways, yes, you can battle the AI on multiplayer.
