I'd like to point out that after all three of us enabled the crash log through the user setting file the problems stopped. We used to crash every game; it's been days since we had any problems. All planet types are in use.
I'm going to point this out. My friends and I had the problem many many times, and the instant we all enabled the crash log through the user setting file it stopped. Haven't had it since. After testing, we found it to fix the error. Why it works, I have no idea. When even one person doesn't have that option enabled it crashes. How were they weakened in 1.04? And how should I structure my fleet, what I used (and was defeated with) were: 60 JRM frigates 30 heavy cruisers 25 repair ships 10 light carriers 2 level 9 cap ships (Destroyer and Battlecruiser) All were 100% upgraded.
My friends and I have played several games now that have lasted 5+ hours, and we all love the game. One question, how can you counter the Dark Fleet as TEC? Near the end it was two on one and we were bombing the remaining four planets the vasari owned with novalith cannons. He actualy had a negative income rate, yet he completly defeated us with the never ending stream of free ships. My tree was maxed out, I had two level 9 cap ships while he had no cap ships, but I could simply not build ships
So would you say, as a temporary fix, that removing gas giants and industrial planets will stop the problem? Or does the game load these values regardless.

So I don't know how it happened, but my friend and I played a two hour game over LAN and had no issues. I used a custom map I made in forge, designed for three players, but I did not put an AI on when we played. No Relic planets and no random planets. I had suspected it was somehow a combination of the AI and the Relic world, so I think this may have been it.

Ok well all our version numbers match and the check sum are the same. I replaced the relic planet in my map, and my friend hosted it. About 30 minutes into it he got the memory dump and CTD, however, I did not freeze this time. The Relic planet was part of the problem, but maybe if the data is completely removed for Relic it will function.
If we don't have the same checksum number, how would we go about fixing that?

I've had no problems with Relic planets. BTW this is a great mod, it is so well done I would have thought it was part of the game.
Any idea when we will be able to use savannah, relic, swamp and graveyard in the editor?
