Oh hey, you're right. For some reason I had it in my head that additional levels increased the max number of platforms. Must have been an IO-18 error.
I really like the Titan and Corvette having several weapon systems, one of which is AA. Capital ships and star bases would benefit from having some AA capacity. Larger units having no AA always seemed a little silly to me. I do understand that there are VS attack craft abilities. Large ships / star bases having AA batteries just feels right. I like the versatility of these units. I noticed they can attack strike craft, at least bombers, as well as ships. The attack run is much better than the units standing about in space and forces the attacking unit to turn, reducing the damage taken. These factors make corvettes an excellent early game escort. I did not notice these factors mentioned in the tool tip. At the very least the AA capability should be noted. I would change the class to destroyer as they seem to mor
Please please please give us an option to disable ship spawning SFX! This was annoying enough before corvettes. Perhaps by factory type or ship type / class.
Levels of the Sova's missile battery ability do not seem to do anything past the first level. Multiple platforms are possible at first level and the stats do not seem to change.
TEC is currently using the Vasari phase missile animation. I prefer the Diplomacy animations for TEC missiles like the Orgev still uses. The old animation feels better with the "human" weapons such as lasers, auto cannon, and beams.
