I don't have any mods [e digicons]:S[/e] . The computer I'm on at the moment barely passes the minimum requirements, so it runs kinda slowly. So I don't play it much. The new laptop I'm getting should be able to run this pretty good. My goal for the new laptop was to be able to play the Crysis demo.
I think it's kinda funny how two science-fiction video games can both have names that are THAT similar. Sins has the Vasari, and Killzone 2 has a guy named Scolar Visari. I know it's kinda random, but that's what off-topic is for.
I'm getting a new laptop, it's supposed to arrive soon, and I was wondering something about Sins. I was going to just move the My Documents folder onto an external hard drive and copy that to the new computer, but I wasn't sure if games like Sins would work if I just copied and pasted it like that. Obviously I'm not a huge PC gamer. So can I do it that way, or do I have to put in the disc, CD key, all that stuff? I can do either, I just don't want to mess anything up. Thanks.
Sounds like it'll be a nice mod! Well, except for the fact that I don't own Entrenchment [e digicons]>_>[/e] . Anyways, I know this is probably of the least importance at the moment, but what time period will this be taking place in? During the war with the Goa'uld, during the war with the Ori, or what? Since it was in the show, you could always say it's a parallel universe or alternate timeline or something where the Goa'uld were never defeated, and the Ori focused on them so the Asgard had
I haven't played Sins for a while, and I don't own Entrenchment or Diplomacy. I remember before Entrenchment I could find quite a few people online, but then after Entrenchment I was lucky to find five people, and now I've been playing a little bit of single player and I've been wondering if anyone plays without either of the expansions.
Doesn't look bad, but since it's basically a Sins MMO I wouldn't buy it when I can use the free multiplayer on Sins. I don't care much about ground and above-ground units because I've played games with ground, air, and water units so it's alright. The only part I don't like is because of the above-ground and ground units, you need to spend more money.
I guess I'll start reading it. There's alot there! Thanks guys! [e digicons][/e]
-introduce more subtle improvements to capital ships as they level, stuff such as an additional beam weapon here, a turret there, a few points of armour, etc. -persistent yet not obnoxious strategic level iconography (flashing planet names, glowing/pulsing planets) indicating sieges, incoming strategic weaponsfire, trade lanes under attack, etc. -exclusive single-player campaign/story-mode assets
</
I might consider this... In my opinion it looks like the same thing as Sins, but Medieval and with magic. I'm not being rude, but could Stardock maybe make a game like Sins, or Elemental, but in a present-day time period?
For my first multiplayer online game, I joined a 4 player game. Once the game loaded, it was lagging right away, but it does that for me offline and goes away after a minute so I stayed. Then, I noticed it was running smoothly but when I click to build stuff nothing happens. Then I clicked Menu, Network and saw that everyone disconnected. I thought maybe 4 players was alot of people online, because it w
Idk if I'll be buying the diplomacy and the other expansion pack, but I think Entrenchment sounds pretty good! Having bases protect the planet, more long range weapons, devices that slow down enemy ships... awesome! I give it five stars [e digicons]5*[/e] [e digicons]|-)[/e] [e digicons]:)[/e] [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e] [e cl
Ok. Thanks :CONGRAT:
Jedmons24, if the picture was too small there are some websites that can shrink pictures for you. I think imageshack.us can do that.
Manhunter123-I'm still kind of new... I've beaten one game LOL. I played on easy and I used to think I needed a huge powerful army to defeat them. So I got my 42 Cobalt Light Frigates and my level 3 Kol Battleship or some other capital ship and started attacking EVERY SINGLE PLANET except the pirate base. Most of the enemy ships were either destroyed or fled. So then I got my colony ship and started colonizing a bunch of planets :D I was doing all the research in the advanced fleet thing so near
Hello. I would like to know if once V1.1 BETA is over, do I NEED Impulse to download it? Or can I still download it like other patches once it's released?
I just had to capture every planet. I was in the middle of fighting their ships while my colonizer was colonizing and there were still about fifteen of their ships left when I won. :CONGRAT:
I don't think I'll join the beta... but it's nice to know the real update should be here soon :D Do we NEED Impulse to download the update? Or is it just easier to get the update from Impulse? And does anyone have an idea of how long beta will last for this?
:CONGRAT: I'm very happy that they're giving us this for free, but I don't have Impulse :SNIFF!: What exactly is Impulse? Is it free?
I had them inactive for my first game so I could win without worrying about them attacking me unless I go on a little stroll through their base. In one game I tried to build about 200 Cobalt Light Frigates (TEC) but I won before they were all done... LOL.
I use the hangars and the defense platforms. Place your defense platforms as far away from the planet as you can, but still being able to place it. Also, place the defense platforms close to the line that connects your planet to the other planet. When you build a hangar, you can put it anywhere. I usually build one fighter and one bomber.
Maybe you have to update the game, G0tchas. I updated the game right after I installed it. jquintero122, I don't know why the serial number isn't working. Hopefully a Stardock person will post here and say why it's not working :D
That's probably right about the pollution thing... unless maybe we find a way to make pollution harmless.
I always upgrade my home planet. I try to upgrade planets as soon as I get them because I don't see why you wouldn't. If a planet is not upgraded, I think it has 1,500 health. If it is fully upgraded, it has about 6,000 health. That's a big difference :CONGRAT:
You can't turn off pirates, they will always be in the game. If you go to Game Options when you are loading or creating a game, you can make the pirates inactive. When the pirates are inactive, they stay at their base. I used that to beat my first game. Before I found out that you could make them inactive, I usually lost quickly or lost lots of ships.
