I'm gonna have to heavily disagree with that review. Although the first 4 stages may be simplistic - they're fun, and that's what it's all about. Now.... the space stage is just huge. I will have to disagree with anyone saying it is not fun and deep, because it is. There's nothing like going over to a planet and abducting an AT-ST creature.

look at the length of the game this way: each planet, battle, is like a small rts game out of fast-paced rts. the bonus is, instead of the individual battles being insignificant to eachother, they depend on each other and communicate with eachother. this way, it doesnt seem as long. how many times over have you played an aoe scenario or a starcraft map? exactly.

organic don't work in sapce to well, and they are a bit cliche. however, a nice idea would be a robotic civ controlled from planets.

my wishlist: 1 one or two new factions 2 gravity we4ll expansion buildings so you can build right next to entrance from phase jumpo for defensive play 3 some (prob limited) form of land combat, or just sending down troops if planteray defenses are 2 strong 4 like SWEaWm maybe a corruption system 5 a spy system 6 a sabotage system 7 an anti-spy system 8 anti-sabotage system and more

I am a newb Vasari player, and I need helpw with strategy. What are the Vasari strengths/weaknesses? What are the best ship combos? Best caps? Also, If you could tell me general strategies - is it better to build up one planet and then colonize, or colonize a lot (meaning building many frigs), and build up later? Any pointers would be much appreciated.

id go with sins - more fast-paced and the battles are interesting. in galciv2, i was always so excited to build my own ships - which is plenty of fun - but i very rarely got to use them. i rushed with transports to te enemy planets - who happened to have no space defenses. i think i may have seen 2-3 fleet battles - and ive played it a lot. not to say thats its a bad game by any means - its awesome. it just comes down to whether you want combat or empire micromanagin/building. Personally, i

SWEAW definly has better graphics - I put it on full on my desktop and it is gorgeous. The Moviecam zooms in to lone tie fighters - and they look realistic. not to mention the executor and victories. Also battles are a lot more interesting. The ships actually move around instead of just floating there. but... sins is still the better game
