You mean "the enema are restless"? Restless enemas are often the butt of jokes. Particularly when they're on the Advent colon-ization ship.(Sorry, li'l bit of toilet humor there.)-- Retro
Question for you Advent guys, what would be the best defense to set up for your choke points? I have all my tacticals filled there, but I'm talking fleet. Right now I'm in a huge 102 planet game with 9 AIs and I'm getting attacked in 3 different spots by large forces. What would be the best fleets(ship makeup) to leave at these 3 spots?
I use lots of heavy cruisers and shield cruisers and long range frigs for cheap firepower with heavy defense frigates to take out strike
maybe, but now there is absolutely no reason for anyone to play anything other than Advent.I fixed that for you, Kruelgor.leadhead, there shouldn't be such a thing as a "late game race". Across all tiers, all races should be equally potent, just potent at different stuff. In 1.03, the Advent were a gamble to survive the first 20 minutes, and then they started to rule. In 1.04, they just rule. Nothing compares to Progenitors with Guardians and Light Frigs...
If that is the
I just started playing...Did they really need a buff? It seemed to me that they are a late game race. If you can hang on until you research the high end armor upgrades and the gaining experience while sitting around skill, its game over for your opponent. Then again, I havent played multiplayer yet and I could see the strategy would be to jump advent early because they are significantly less powerful and increase power much more slowly.Jump advent early is an understatement. Everyone targ
When I first heard that, I about fell off the back of my chair laughing! The other one is the girl says something about her enimas being strong! Apparently the Advent creator staff was having a good time! When my wife hear the sound bytes comming from my computer when I started playing the Advent, she was like "What are you doing?"

Ship sizes in history have always been lose anyways. They were classified by armament and armor, but actually displacement was really the biggest factor in classification. This has changed alot over the years. A modern guided missle destroyer displaces 8-9000 tons which is more inline with cruisers in WW1 and WW2. A battlecruiser was just as large as a battleship, but displaced less and had lighter armor but more speed. Cruisers have always been a sort of jack of all trades but
I am just starting the game and have played a couple of single player scenarios. I am playing the TEC right now I just learned that my overwhelming force of battleships is no match for mabee two battleships and a mix of cruisers and frigates. Even if you take more than one capital into combat, I found it is best to mix the classes (A big thumper, A support ship and a carrier). The computer has taught me that Robotics cruisers are a must this ship can equalize a capital force more than twi
thanks! I will take walleye vision for 1000 alex I apparently didnt research the previous friggen skill and that was all that it was telling me. If I just clicked the button directly to the left, I would have had it. I was getting ahead of myself with the chevrons! DOH!
I see... Either I dont make sense or this has been asked...alot.
I need this to be researched to get higher ship numbers, but I cant seem to find it anywhere. I am playing the advent and cant find it under hostility or harmony. Help
