Is there a way to back up the digital DL version to a dvd so i don't have to download it after i get rid of it to rollback to a version where my mods actually work. I don't want to use up my download limit on something i already have.
I've looked around and i can't find the old mods anywhere, and i've thought about reinstalling just so i can use them again! Thanks anyways
I've recently started to play again and since i hadn't played in a long time i hadn't updated either. So of course i updated and now all the mods i made (mostly edited and merged mods) won't work and i can't figure out how to get them to work. Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.
What is the max that "requiredPlanetBonusesCount" can be? I've been trying to get certain planets to give bonuses no mater what and if i change the number to anything other than 0 i get CTD during game start or sometimes during loading... Also are there any tutorials on planet modding, at the moment i'm using guess work to figure most of it out.

Personally i think the best idea for a Stagate mod would be one based purely on Atlantis...3 races...Humans, Wraith and Asurans with the Genii as pirates... nice simple and easy as a start(teaser) until one is created with all races and each race limited to it's own galaxy to start with...
Sounds like a cheat to me....but also fun! I would also like a mod that creates a 4th race that has EVERYTHING that the other 3 has but doesn't need to do any research at all
I have to agree with the whole campaign idea. If there is so much history and lore why not build on that and have the campaign revolve around that. I would also like to see more ships, mainly capital class, and none of this balance nonsense. No war has ever been balanced, i don't recall Churchill ringing Hitler and saying "no no fair that you have V2 rockets and we have nothing to match it so don't use them." Want to prove yourself as a true strategest then use a weaker race to win ;)
