Just a quick yes/no question here: Is "Unfair" difficulty rating actually unfair in that the AI gets extra resources/tech/speed/damage/ect. beyond the scope of the game at hand, or is it just saying that it's supposed to be so hard it only seems "unfair"?

Do PJI stack or is one enough?
AHHH!!! They just said on the news that some anylists are predicting gas will soon be $12-$15 a gallon! It gave me an anxiety attack! Looks like my generation will be marked by abject poverty *cry*!!!
That's news to me...
Thought of these the other day: 1) While we can create scouts for visual reconosance, I would like to see some sort of "Spies" ability to be put into the game where you could see varying degrees of information of other players/AI. Things like income, ceasefires/trade agreements/peace treaties, something about their research or research capacity, fleet/cap ship sizes, ect. As it stands now, it is very hard to know anything about another player unless you are very close diplomatically, and
Thanks Joe, to address your points: 2) Yes, under the game options screen when you start up a new game, the game speeds choices found therein. Not being very familiar with PC game mechanics, its hard to say exactly "how much" faster I would want it, however a further option or even two beyond the "fast" rating I would be pleased with. Since it's an option, should it even be too fast, I'll scale it back to my comfort level. Key word here is that we would have the "option" of faster speeds, no
Good points. And I agree that the "Provoke Hysteria" ability is one of the most awesome yet slightly chilling abilities in the game. I get pleasurable urges I don't quite understand whenever I zoom in on a planet under its effects and just listen as the "glory" of the Unity engulfs the populace...
It seems that several complaints have come from the fact that a good deal of a typical Sins game is spent waiting for resources to accrue or ships to cross a gravity well. I am of this opinion as well. Rather than increase ship speeds alone or resource speeds alone, which could potentially lead to futher balance issues and concerns, I would like to see even faster overall game speeds than the ones offered presently. Even when playing on "fast" (and does anyone ever not play on "fast"?), the prob

I had suspected that, a historical slant propagated by the TEC, but wanted to be sure. Thanks!
In the manual and on the site, the Advent were described as being a deviant race because of heavy pharmacutical use and genetic augmentation and experimentation. It made them seem like they were the degenerates and mutants of the galaxy with a taste for the twisted. But in game, the seem bright and enlightened, like a more evolved form of humanity, and not at all sick or mutated like they were described. Did anyone else get this impression as well? Before I even started playing the game, I thoug
I love the Advent voices since there are so powerful and other-worldly sounding. The slight echo helps too
May we please have the ability to scuttle multiple numbers of ships rather than the current and tedious method of one at a time? This would also help when reconfiguring planet specialities (i.e. Siddenly, your trade world that has 8 trade posts needs to become the frigate factory hub...select all the trade hub and mass-scuttle with one click!). Other uses would be to scuttle your masses of LRMs when the enemy sudden counters with an appropriate fleet of his own. Save time and money!
