Thank you! I knew it would probably be something ridiculously simple. I just didn't know you could get the patch manually, I thought it was only available through Impulse.

Update error in Technical Sins Forums

I'm not sure if this is Impulse's fault or the game's fault. When I update the game, Impulse shows it as 1.05.028, but when I actually start the game, the numbers in the bottom right hand corner say v1.00. So from there, I went to the actual program directory in Program Files, and Windows says the file version is 1.0.0.1. I probably wouldn't have noticed anything wrong, but I couldn't get the 7 Deadly Sins mod to work, and investigated from there. I've tried everything short of reinst
