I made my computer DMZ on my network, and I have no problems joining games at this point. The Pantheon tried to make a 5v5 except only 4 people made it in game. What ensued was a CPU stomp on all sides until the two Regulas players could DPS the shit out of my QoT, and my ally's Unclean Beast. It was just stupid. I was like 7-1, and both of them were like 10-1. Needs to be fixed!! Custom games for the win right now.

At this point, they should just be renamed to Let's Farm the AI. A completely useless game type right now haha.
Mulch vs Bramble in my opinion depends on your teammates and the team you are fighting. I do agree with you, however, on the aoe spike spell. The reduction to armor synergizes well with focus of this QoT build. At least I'm glad someone agrees that the shamblers seem to have promise in addition to the other builds I have seen on the forums.
Also Bramble shield is an acceptable alternative to the passive ability.
Anyone have some hard stats on Shamblers? I am just curious because I have been building QoT with a shambler build. I've won every game with this build and have maintained a positive KD ratio. Basically, I max shambler's and their upgrade in addition to buying all minion based items. They seem to have massive HP for creeps and deal aoe damage which synergizes nicely with QoT splash damage. Furthermore, I max my stats and get the passive ability that absorbs corps
Honestly, connectivity issues are what made me stop playing the Beta. I couldn't stand the desyncs and connecting to more than 2 people was almost impossible. I made several complaints at the time, but I was generally flamed with the standard "this is a beta" response. The games I have played I have found fun, but generally the game is still unplayable. I really don't know why the release date wasn't pushed back. Honestly, there was only a few weeks of Beta 3 bal
Agree with the thread.
I knew this type of response would come. I just wanted to voice my frustration. The game was supposed to be released already. I am not denying any of your responses are not true. I was just voicing my dissatisfication with what I expected. I completely understand the process of the beta. I'm just saying that I expected it would be beta 3 by now. Its not and its frustrating especially if beta 3 lasts for only 2-4 weeks. Thats all I am saying.&nbs
I have been around since Beta 1. I preordered last year and didn't mind testing the engine parts of the game. However, the game was supposed to be released in February, and I'm not sure how far the release date has been pushed back if at all. Thats my problem. Also they promised Beta 2 would be much more fun and in fact its not its far worse.
So, I just want to say that trying to play this game online is just aggravating. Yes I know its a "Beta," but I preordered the game thinking I would actually be able to Beta test the game with other players to balance and make Demigod a great game. This however is impossible. If you actually do get a game going since people rarely try, you are bombarded with 10,000 desyncs in each game. Also, it can take up to four tries to get a single game going with disconnects.&nbs
I'm interested.
After reading a few pages of this thread, I have read up to 4, I have come to one conclusion. As the game is currently balanced, the Citadel upgrades seem to be the driving force of the army. I currently agree that Erebus and Oak are modifications of the Assassin archetype, so keeping them as Assassins with minions makes sense. Did you read 108? My response.
Quoting Heartsbane00, reply 2 I just played a Dota game where we stunned someone for 12 seconds straight. The relevance of this is nil. Stuns are made of fail, it's no fun at all to get stunned.
We will agree to disagree. When your playing a tank in Dota, sometimes your purpose is to take the stuns off your carry heroes. Even if I am stunned for 6-7 seconds by
I'm going to play again tonight. So far, Torch Bearer is my favorite hero. Also the differences between Generals and Assassins is a joke. I would rather just call them support heroes or something.
I'm glad mostly everyone agrees that currently the game feels as it has no real focus. I personally have no idea what GPG is trying to make. Are the creeps going to run the game? Are the Demigod's the ultimate power? Currently, I see no reason to upgrade creeps fast as you only feed Erebus and Torch Bearer. The more creeps you let out of portals, the more experience the other team gets. Perhaps, we all just need to step back and play 50+ games with varying
I should have clarified I was talking specifically about mist, and how I felt he did not feel like a fully synergized hero like Regulas, who I still believe shouldn't slow. Seriously how many more slows do we need in Demigod. Torch Bearer, Unclean One, Regulas, and each has more than one. Regulas should get more love in my opinion. Maim is a cheap way to finish out his skills and makes him really annoying. I need to sleep haha.
There are probably effective ways to play him. I admit I haven't tested him drastically. I just felt that his mist was completely retarded. Getting past level 2 is useless and hurts you. I wanted to try a bat swarm mist combo and all that happened was I would do damage, try to mist for a kill, get half my health taken away because of mist's cooldown, and then get sniped and maimed to death on my way out or chased down by a uber fast oak/unclean one. Regardless if
I see your argument, but your assuming the other team won't stun you or destroy your priests with Torch Bearer. Plus, you can't bat port in mist and bat port out. The cooldown is too high and you would kill yourself before the cooldown would be back up to escape. The only way you could do this is to get only one point into mist. Perhaps this is useful, but to have the level 4 version be useless while the level 1 be great because you can just sit there is a design flaw.
I completely disagree. Did you use his Mist? Torch Bearer destroys him. Unclean One destroys him. Regulas destroys him. Oak destroys him. Maybe Rook doesn't destroy him. But his mist sucks. Did you stand in it? Just run away for 2 seconds turn around and kill him. By that time he would have destroyed his health if he had gotten more than 2 ranks in mist. Bat Swarm is awesome. But its cooldown is huge. What can he do
Completely agree with you. You are commenting on some things I was trying to point out in my Regulas Eberus rant. Right now the game is the same from level 1-20. I feel that no matter what happens in the game player actions have no direct impact on the result. The death toll is what 17 seconds on mean. You die so what. You buy a 100 dollar tp and teleport back to your lane. You don't really lose that much gold (if any?) and the game continues like not
18. Clicking on a demigod shows health and mana in numbers. A Green bar does nothing to tell how much health or mana someone has. 19. A hold position key, so you don't have to spam the ground to try and make your hero stop. 20. UI for your creeps. Seeing their healthbars somewhere would help. 21. In game commands to see your armor reduction, movement speed, attack speed, ect.
