Sounds like bad ram, I had a machine with a bad ram stick, would crash at random, sometimes not at all. I suggest taking out one of the sticks, and try playing it with one or the other. If you discover that its a ram stick then most company's have a good warranty program.
I just started getting it today, we got it like 3 times starting 3 different games. We have been able to play a few really long games before, so Idk whats up..
I had this problem, we just bought the game, but I am the host machine, All i did was open up ports 6111-6113, also Type in the IP address for the router (This was on a Linsys Router so it might be a little different but the last 3 digits use those, also don't just put like 192.168.1.1 (have to be be 100, 101, 102 at the end), 192.168.1.101, and 102, 103, 104, just incase. And if you can Bypass the Router entirely and just use the modem on whoevers network your hosting on. This way you
