If you have the demo installed try removing it using Windows Add/Remove programs on the Control Panel and start full-game install again - worked for me tho my error message was different.
Computer rebooted so I was not able to submit an error report so reporting here. V1.04 installed, first time I've encountered this: played about 10 hrs, 3 games so far - was about 3/4 thru a Medium size random map vs. 5 AI players - suddenly Victory screen comes up but it's frozen, no "click to continue" buttons appear, 5 seconds later PC reboots.
