LOrd, thanks for the responce but the reason I pick health regen item is because I use OOZE, and OOZE takes -40 health a second, but also does damange and makes hte attacker atttack 40% less of the time. So when it comes 1v1 battles they either stay and die or run away its quite effective.

Hi guys, I was wondering what a good build for unclean beast is for hit points + hit point regen. I use the OOZe build, basically I get spit and ooze, but I don't get any manna items and only focus on hp + hp regen items which seems to work out pretty good, the initial spit helps a ton even though I run out of mana pretty fast but as soon as they start attacking me its game over if they don't run after the initial spit. So what I get from

how does Lord get more than 2 high presists or bishops? in Demigod Strategies Demigod Forums

Hi, I was wonder if there is an item I have to buy to get an extra 2 high presists or biships. The guy I was playing against had 2 high bishops and 2 high presists and I tried it but it only allows you to buy 1 IDOL to fil the slot. So I was wondering how he got 4 of them if you can only get 1 idol either the bishops or the high presits? Thanks Also I know you can get 2 other idols, archers or whatever but this w

Okay so my buddy from NC found the solution on this forum. For some werid reason, you need to delete the folder located in: C:\Documents and Settings\ \My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\demigod This will fix the problem. No idea why but that last patch screwed the game and this was the only solution. The fact that this folder wouldn't be deleted when you uninstall the game blows my mind. You should at least ask the user, hey do you

URGENT: The recent Patch broke the game! Can't play online or offline now in Demigod Technical Support Demigod Forums

So I've had this game since release, worked fine until this most recent patch, it says patch updated 5/12/09 this is the patch that broke the game. Now when I play single or multiplayer the loading screen says NO TEXT, and I get an unhanlded exception error. SO I thought it was just me, turns out my friend (roommate) and my friend from NC who also updated now can't play online or offline so there is no way this is an isolated problem with just us. 10-30 mins into a game, I get kicked out the game! everytime! in Demigod Technical Support Demigod Forums

Hi guys so this is really driving me nuts because its ruining the game for me! I can join games just fine, i also have the port forward on, and i also turned off SPI I think its called on the router because I heard it causes packet loss. But still somtimes in 10 mins somtimes in 30 minutes into a game, I will get booted, it says everyone has droppped but thats not the case, its really me getting dropped. Sadly, the 8500gt is a horriable card that might be your issue. If you buy a graphics card for 60 bucks, you well, get what you paid for. Look at it this way, the 8600 GT barely beats the 7600GT, so your 8500gt, performs even worse than a 7600GT.

no it shouldn't be exactly even, I wasn't saying that but having 1 core almost 100% and the other core 3% is not right. The reaosn my other cores were even that high is probably because I was running a ton of stuff in the background, so it would have even been lower, almost 0% on the 2nd core if i had no background applications running. Tomarrow I'll run the game again with no backround applications running like AIM/VENT/FireFox/Steam and again look at the load

Well I'm not a professional game devloper, but usually you don't change the engine that much, what you see is what you get. If its not supporting threading now, its not just changing some code, and saying oh hai, its fixed! multithreaded!

No actually, this is a big problem. It seems demigod does support "multiple cores" but its just like we are researching my parellel programming class, people don't know how to properly make a game multithreaded, they just bs some things and hope for the best. You don't list your graphics card, and you only have 1 gig of ram. You also have a single core processor, that P4 IS NOT 2 CPUs, it just has hyper threading. Most important thing here is #1. Graphics card #2. Processor #3. RAM The processor is fine, but I can tell you already your graphics card isn't. I can also see your lacking in RAM. 2 gigs is almost standard now a days for gaming.

Its not a game issue its your system/graphics card I'm assuming. Whats your graphics card? I have no lag what so ever, runs on max settings at 1680x1050 with an 8800gt. ALso what do you have your settings at? A fix would be to turn down your graphics settings.

I thought the game was fun, I don't like the other gods other than the big guy for some reason. The game runs very smooth on my 8800gt on max settings at 1680x1050 and also looks good. I totally agree though, if there is an area attack it shouldn't be forced to click on 1 unit. If this beta wasn't suppose to be fun, then I can't wait to see the fun version.
