Holy shit, I think I figured it out, it's the steam overlay I didn't have it enabled, so I switched it on in the preferences thinking there might be an option or something and they showed up in the corner, I switched it off and they disappeared again, so that was the problem still need to try a game with my friend to confirm, I'll get back to you

ok so me and my friend tried to play a multiplayer match over LAN and it worked fine, but we had to stop so I saved it. When we tried to load up the save it said galaxy version does not match host (or something like that), after screwing around with it for a bit I noticed that under his version number it listed the DLC, but the DLC is not listed under mine even though I bought both of them we were playing the STA3 mod in rebellion and I am using windows 7 and

yeah, I got the updater to work, unfortunately it didn't get this mod to work, I even tried it from 4 folders all named for each version and updated from each one, but nothing worked, unless I'm missing something but I did get the updator to work, so....would this mod conflict with distant stars? ok, I just checked, it is distant stars *sigh* guess I'l just have to fiddle with things to get it to work, unless any one knows how?

ok here's what I do, I run the program, I open the entrenchment 1.041 folder and click "set sorce to copy from" I click "set destination to copy to" (it already has the mod floder selected) I then click "copy and update the entity files" at this point I get an error msg that says "sorry wrong folder NO conversion instructions available" P.S. I did notice that the source window jumps back to the sins main directory when I try to run i
