The only pain I could see with this updating process would be for those who do not have a legitimate copy of the game. It took me 4 minutes today to register, confirm the email, login, and download the latest update. No problems here. Are you seriously proposing a WoW solution of a 125 MB patch every week or two? As far as I can tell the game is solid. I'm on board with Ironclad and Stardock.
