The complaint is we don't want to install IE7, all your rambling on about "you have to do it anyway for windows" have nothing to do with the fact Impulse shouldn't require IE7. I personally don't want to install IE7, and 99% of the time nothing else requires it either. In fact Impulse doesn't actually require IE7, only the installer refuses to install unless it's present, the actual functions of impulse run perfectly well with firefox. This is the complaint. Feel free to continue making snobby replies about how people that don't want to install IE7 are morons who don't know anything about computers. My SoaSE box doesn't say I have to install IE7 to receive support. Steam doesn't require it either.

Did it ever occur to you people that some people use neither IE6 OR IE7? Just because someone doesn't want to install IE7 doesn't mean they're some backwards hick using IE6. Even then so what, a lot of people still use IE6 and there's really no reason you should have to install IE7 to use required software. It's not a matter of using an unsecure web browser, it's we can't do anything with Sins because we don't have IE7 and don't want it.

Except you also need IE7 apparently. Here I was ready to buy entrenchment and when I get Impulse it says "I'm sorry, you can't be our customer anymore" Well I can't argue with Impulse I guess. Back to using steam, which works.
